The next chapter of Retirement Blues is up, and I've decided it will be the penultimate chapter. Please add your speculations about that unsolved case in the comments!

Meanwhile, I have plenty of story ideas working, and some of them have OCs that need names. So what names would you propose for the following characters?

·A troublemaking pegasus colt.
·A unicorn stallion who works as a civil engineer.
·A crystal pony mare and stallion who run a school of etiquette.

I sketched out ideas for Retirement Blues, coming up with plans for eight additional chapters, including thinking up a thematically appropriate name for the final chapter. A number of the Season 2 episodes will either be mentioned or run concurrently with these chapters. It's possible chapters might be split if they get too long, and there's always the chance for reader comments to drive an additional chapter.

I thought Retirement Blues had too few favorites, but it appeared in the featured box after its latest update!

One example of such a dream involved watching a new episode of MLP:FIM, and being worried about the impact the episode would have on one of the stories I'm writing, Retirement Blues, and its main character.

Of course, like most dreams, there are several flaws that become obvious once awake. In this case, not only is there no new episode coming out, but there's no conceivable way a new episode could impact an original character in a story that's currently set during Season One.
