I think I just figured out why I stopped writing Mare-Do-Well. It was too repetitive. Written one fight scene with a group of armed lunatic horses, written them all. After a while it just starts grating.

Sorry about my relative inactivity lately. I'm not going to lie, it's mostly been procrastination. I have an extremely bad habit of loosing interest in a story and simply abandoning it about halfway down the track. With some, it comes sooner than later. I've also been working on a couple of small projects lately: a RPGMaker game and a new fanfic.

I just realized that my Moongate Asylum fic violated one of the terms of posting a story.

Erm... that stretches to my Borderlands thing too.

I've decided to cancel the Mare-Do-Well series. This is due to several reasons.

1. It's not an original story. It's almost a word-for-word copy of Arkham Asylum.
2. I didn't use my own characters. Now, I know that's dumb because it's a fanfic, but I mean that I used other OCs that weren't mine, so... that wasn't really fun.

I'm wondering whether I should cancel MDW: Moongate Asylum.

Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like the story, it's just, well...

It's not exactly original.

Not sure if I should do it. You can give me opinions, but I'll reach a point where I decide.

I know that I said that it would be a short rate until the next chapter of MDW was up, but to be honest, its gonna take a bit longer. This is because of the amount of distractions I have in my life.

I'm full to blame for this, but recently, I'm playing video games more that writing to the point where I haven't written anything since Monday.

Mind you, Chapter 10 is literally 2 fight scenes away from being completed, but I just can't bring myself to start up again.

Alright, I've edited the Marecave part in chapter four to make it a bit more realistic. I'm working on chapter 10 at the moment, so bear with me.
