Hey everyone. It's been a long few weeks and I'm glad to be back.

My mother's service went very well and it was great to see all my local friends, but I've really missed having time to just chill with my laptop.

Since the service, my life only got crazier. I'll spare the details but I was given a truck on the grounds I fix it, so I did, then I used it to apply for a new job in the next town over and now I look to be making twice as much.

If you missed my last blog, I recently lost my mother. I expect this to affect my schedule more than it already has. As usual, I have a few reserve chapters to keep the story going and I intend to release them. That being said they have only gotten a few passes and I know I'm far from perfect.

When I started putting Blazing a Trail to the Past online I made it a teen rating because I didn't want certain scenes that have nothing to do with the plot to take over any of the chapters. The original draft of the story included them.

I've been thinking lately that it would be fun to write a sister story with a mature rating that would really just be these scenes.

The question is if anyone would actually want to read it.

Anyone reading my story up until now is likely familiar with the fact that going into it my grammar was on par with a kindergartener, looking back I'm embarrassed I thought it was passable.

After week's of working with The Other Sans I was able to fully edit up to about chapter thirty.

Since then I have discovered and downloaded a free program known as Grammarly. I just finished sifting through the entire story and fixing everything it found.

I appreciate how many of my readers have been working with me in fixing my bad grammar. If you are enjoying my story but stumble where I used a wrong word, feel free to comment so I can fix it for the next reader. I know I have this problem so I will not get offended. I don't always get to it immediately, but will try to devote at least an hour each Thursday for editing so I can fix the old chapters and not not mess up the new ones.

I'm actually a few chapters ahead so my editor can keep up with the releases, I went ahead and released two since he had a chance to look at them. The very next chapter has a taste of what really brought Jerry to Equestria.

It appears I will be busy Monday morning. It's not like me to say I'll do something and not do it, so I released the chapter a day early rather than late.

It's still a little way from getting into the real plot, but bear with me. I'm trying to make sure I see the sub-plots threw.

I decided to release a chapter of 'Blazing a Trail to the Past' early to kick start the plot a little. It's still a couple chapters from really getting into it and I want to get them out of the way.

I still plan to release a chapter Monday morning as is my routine.

I may not be from a military family like Jerry in my story but I have a tremendous amount of respect for those who serve.

I would have enlisted myself but I am weak and certain things got in the way. Other than the convenient plot device of Jerry having a military father he is a reflection of me. I mentioned the reason I couldn't enlist in one chapter. Only one. I ramble.

I started this account because I enjoy writing. Not necessarily because I'm good at it.

That being said I do hope somebody enjoys my work now that I'm showing it to the world.

I'm working on typing out one of my notebooks.

It's totally different from my first story, and features a human in Equestria. If one person enjoys reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it, I'm on the right track. If not, f_c_ it. I'm just here for fun anyway.
