So at the moment, I'd say thr next chapter is around... 40% ish done. I aim to get it out before Christmas.

A few weeks ago. I acquired a new job, albeit temporary, but it required me commuting into London. On paper, it looks fine. About an hour on the train, which is acceptable.

However, I forgot to factor in train faults and failures, delays, cancellations and whatnot, but I said to myself "they don't happen that often do they?"

A friend of mine had a very serious car crash 2 weeks ago, and I've been helping sort a few things out. As a result, I've not made very much progress on chapter 13, as I've been busy helping sort stuff out. I'm only 3000 words in. I don't have an ETA, just expect a long delay.

But I worked hard and I've finally got a picture in my mind of where I'm heading. For the first time in my life, I know what I want to do and what I need to do. I guess Google didn't like my story and thinks I should go on a training course to improve it.

So since I've been off work after an operation to have an ingrown toenail removed, I had a lot of time to get to writing, meaning I managed to get chapter 11 up in a reasonable time for once! (I like to try and aim to have a maximum wait time of 1 month.)

But as I did that, I just noticed something.

WTAT has just passed 100,000 words.
I have written over 100,000 horse words.

Well, a lot's been going on, but to cut a long story short, I've been having some really difficult financial situations that have been stressing me out, and it's been impacting on my writing. But I'm past the worst of it now, and it can only get better.

In more positive news, chapter 10 is now finished, and it will be released in the next 24-48 hours, whilst I go through and correct my probably very poor grammar.

I've been having a huge writers block over the past few weeks. I'm slowly getting over it, but it's taking time. I'm about halfway through it at the moment. I'm going away this weekend, so I won't have much if any time to work on it then, but I'm going to try my hardest to get it out to you guys by at least Sunday 30th August.

I'm so sorry for a longer delay than usual. I'm working on it.

My Hard Drive died!

I had part of the chapter on my memory stick, so at least I don't have to rewrite the whole thing, but it is gonna be a serious setback. Sorry for the delay, it was out of my hands. :(

In the meantime, I've got a new SSD on order, and I'm switching to Google Docs so I've got a backup in the cloud for the future.

I just got back from Le Mans! Writing will now resume.
