Instead of treating Ed with kindness and love like a sister should do, she just abuses him and treats him poorly for just merely existing. Sure, Ed has done some things that could be the reason for that, but he still tries to be a good brother and was inadvertently doing all that. Plus, that still doesn't excuse her own actions towards him. And she probably doesn't know about his efforts to be a caring brother or just doesn't care as long as it benefits her and her best friend, Jimmy, who she seems to treat more as an actual brother than Ed and is her only redeeming quality.

And she's not just that to Ed, but to others as well, especially characters like Johnny. There was this one time where Rolf was trying to save Jimmy from his pet goat, Victor, and instead of seeing this act of heroism, Sarah automatically assumes that he was harming him and beats him up despite that for some reason. She also blames Ed for some reason during an infamous episode despite having no evidence that he did anything wrong.

She never apologizes to anyone, but Jimmy, is never merciful, usually gets away with it, always uses force and violence instead of reasoning or understanding, unless that person is Jimmy, always thinks she's in the right, etc. At least characters like Eddy and Kevin have more redeeming qualities and get punished despite being mean-spirited and easily-angered. Sarah only has a few and one of those is Jimmy.

And the worst part, in my opinion, is that Jimmy usually defenses Sarah's actions and encourages them, treating her like some paragon of virtue who could no wrong and whom deserves to beat others up just because she's his friend. Just because someone is your friend doesn't give them an excuse to hurt others.

To quote an actually nice imaginary friend, "I'm sorry, but that is not okay."
