Oh Look, its a Russian dog that isn't a Husky.

They say that the Borzoi was bred between the Russian Sheepdogs and the Afghan Hound dog, and I can see that in their beautiful appearance and slender bodies. The dogs were originally known as the Russian wolfhound, because it was bred for hunting rather than utilitarian work. Comparing this to other dogs, this dog is freaking huge. I thought my Dachshund had a long nose, they say that this dog's nose will grow for 3 years. Surprisingly, this dog is incredibly gentle in family life.

Since the Borzoi often represented the Russian Nobility and aristocracy, Those dirty ivans slaughtered the dogs for fun after the revolution. Fucking savages.
They are considered adults at 1 year, that's before their nose is done growing.
