Make a character thread and ask the members to spew ideas about that one character.g. Rainbow Dash?

Or perhaps a tag e.g. romance, comedy?

Hold small contests. Nothing gets the creative muscles flexing and motivation flaring than a bit of friendly competition. The rules would be for the story to be under 2k words and have a prompt somewhere from the other thread I saw earlier. It wouldn't even need to be submitted to the site, a small gdoc would be enough IMHO.
