What is the real point of the Gravelord Covenant? Cause all I got is this:

Gravelords use eyes of death to infect the worlds of players in NG+ with black phantom enemies. In order to stop the gravelording you must invade and defeat the world of the gravelord as a Spirit of Vengeance through a black summon sign that appears somewhere in the area that has been infected. One gravelord can infect up to three players at the same time, so even if you don't defeat the gravelord somebody else might, which will also stop the infection. This also means that a gravelord can be invaded by up to three spirits of vengeance at once.

Gravelords are rewarded with eyes of death and souls for successfully defeating gravelorded invaders, and invaders are also rewarded with an eye of death as well as souls for defeating the gravelord.

3447037 I knew that part about them, but they tend to fall under "Useless, powerweapon loving, player hating, scrubs" Even the darkwraiths are more respectable. The summon sign follows the gravelord. . . Which can make most areas impossible

So then that would mean the goal is to be a dick and stick around the end of the area so infected players can get shrek'd while they try to get a chance to invade you.

3447055 Or. . .turn off your game if you're the gravelord if you're focusing on trolling. But you can hide in some really obscure places. . .Like behind the giant blacksmith in Anor Londo, or hide in New Londo after you clear out all the enemies and water.
