I can't be around to start new threads for every variety of reaction imagery/videos, so the purpose of this thread is to let our members know what constitutes the "proper" way of starting a thread. Think of these are merely guidelines to follow, as we might allow some leniency here and there, but let's try and keep things relatively under-control here.

When posting a new thread, you must specific its categorization and speciality. Whether it be reactions that convey certain emotions, or are to be used in very specific instances, make sure that is clear in your topic title. You must also decide if the thread is going to Image-only, Video-only, or both; as there are different posting rules for both kinds of threads.

- Macro Armories are for images only, These include image macros, reaction artwork, and other static images used to convey a reaction. PNG, JPEG, and GIF images are accepted in these threads. You may not post more than three images at a time.* You are permitted to double-post if you need to contribute more than that. Images MUST be Safe For Work; ie, no excessive gore or porn.

- Clip Warehouses are for storing embedded links to YouTube videos only. In this threads, along with the video, it is also a good idea to provide the BBCode for the YouTube video itself just below any video you post; you can do that by putting an empty set of code inside of a bracket set, which will break the coding and let it be easily seen and CTRL-V'd. You may not post more than three videos at a time.* You are permitted to double-post if you need to contribute more than that. All videos MUST be Safe For Work; ie, no excessive gore or porn.

- Combined Arms are threads for both images and videos, and are usually reserved for more specific situational purposes. You may only post a total of three image and/or videos at a time. You are permitted to double-post if you need to contribute more than that. All videos and images MUST be Safe For Work; ie, no excessive gore or porn.

- Video Archives are like Clip Warehouses, but instead focus on a particular series or source. Well-known people like JonTron and the Nostalgia Critic, for example, present a goldmine's worth of all-purpose reactions. Threads for any specific TV show are also accepted. Only threads with general reactions from a singular source / show are allowed to be these. As with Clip Warehouses, you may not post more than three videos at a time. You are permitted to double-post if you need to contribute more than that. All videos MUST be Safe For Work; ie, no excessive gore or porn.

So, for example, the title of an image-only thread for reaction images to a bad story would be "Macro Armory: Fanfiction" or something along those lines. Make sure it's clear what sort of reactions the thread is meant for. And always CHECK to see if no one else has made the exact same sort of thread already. Why are we being so specific about the threads? Because some people are just as specific about what they want and/or need, and this way, it's easier to sort through it all.

*In doing so, this helps cut down on the amount of data the page needs to load. If everyone posted 10 images per post, the thread would likely be slow to load. This is merely a precautionary measure, and I don't see it as a very incovenient thing, so please respect this rule.
