This group has seven members, and nine stories. Should we hold a contest or something to make more tales about parent less foals? Should we promote our group? How? Only seven members is pretty sad for such a subject.

A contest sounds like a good idea. The only problem is figuring out how to promote it ( and by extension, the group itself ). I honestly have no ideas on this.
If we do have a contest, I could probably contribute some sort of prize.
