If she were to live in the Cyhsaliverse or any of the universes, obviously she would try to help restore harmony to equestria while trying to come to terms with having to live in this world now and eventually doing so (tears ensue).
But the Cyhsaliverse in particular If you are to write a fanfiction I recon you will need the characters Twilight, Spike, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Zecora and Chrysalis (just have main six tag)
If you are planning to have Chrysalis defeated in the end then I would advise not using the elements or tree of harmony as those are out of the question.
You will have to set up how Chrysalis came to power (e.g. defeating Celestia with her changling armies).
And that is really all I can give you, it will be interesting to see how you do this. I'm not really a fan of the Chrysaliverse but I will be wiling to give this story a try
