Is there a story idea about the Dwemer disappearing and arriving Equis, or returning to Nirn?

The Dwemer going to Equestria could work if done right. Them returning to Nirn is another story. One that I think ruins a good part of the Elder Scrolls lore.

Not really. My Elder Scrolls knowledge is limited at best, and the Dwemer isn't one I looked into enough to even try and make it work. One other thing works against it too.

I absolutely hate when a random piece of another franchise is brought to Equestria. 99.999% of the stories I've seen have failed miserably to make it work in a good way.

A character from My Little Pony going to another franchise's world is another story of course. Because magic is weird like that.

Them returning would essentially require you to go to Kirk-kult territory, which is not really a place any self-respecting lore expert should be going to.
