When I link my unpublished story to someone else, they get a 404 error.

Unapproved stories can only be viewed with a password. Go to the edit story page and enter a view password to allow others to view your story, provided they have the password you entered. They must also have an account on the site to view the story. After entering the password, their access is valid for 24 hours. Changing the password at any point will remove their access.
