1. Hope's Asylum? Kirins, HippoGriffs, and Kelpies? WHAT!?!

Answer. This is an ongoing reference I plan on bringing up from time to time. Hope's Asylum, is a refuge for pony hybrids, from Kirins, to Hippogriffs, Mules, and even Zorses! (Zebra/Pony mixes). It is located in the forest below Smokey Mountain, and protected by strong dissuasive magic. Ignoring that magic, Ponies brave enough to pass on will find a white Manticore protecting its gates. The Great Kellie (a Kelpie) Is its oldest resident/Guardian, and the Kirins who live there are Rapi Dash, and Blitzen.

The long and short of it? The CMCs discovered this place, and the Princesses themselves revealed the ancient sanctuary still exists to those in the nearby Ponyville area. It has been slow integrated even since. Please read this story for more information on its history.

2. I get that, it's an invented town, but what about "Rapi Dash?" Why is she important?

Answer. She is the older Kirin, about 400 years old. While nowhere near a powerful Unicorn herself, she retains the full magic of her Pony lineage, and the strength of her Dragon blood. Both Kirins will live long lives, but young Blitzen, while a century old himself, is still a colt in body, and partially in mind (a rule of thumb, take away the last digit to get an idea of their "human" age). She was the leader and Guardian of Hope's Asylum. She out-ranks even the Great Kellie, as Kellie was a 'prisoner' of sorts for her crimes against the Sea-ponies. She doesn't care much for the Alicorn Princesses blaming them for her Dragon parent being forced to leave Equestria.

Whether true or not, she accepts Blitzen's friendships as a compromise to them, however. This is somewhat explained in a one shot story I wrote here.

3. I thought you said "You'll never ship and OC with a main character!" LIAR What about Sweetie and Blitzen? and that scene at the end of Wonder-Colt 3??

Answer: I could be an ass, and joke I don't think Sweetie Belle is a main character! BUT truth be told, I thought they seemed to be on friendly terms, and in my original draft, Sweetie was merely infatuated with him, as she daydreamed what Spike and Rarity's children would look like, if they were to make a baby Kirin themselves. Granted, she is young and there is no indication in the show that Sweetie knows about Spike's crush on her sister, but it's my headcanon!

That said, the "shipping" came about as a suggestion to improve the story. This is a one shot, and not meant to really be followed up, but after a few very nice PMs and a wonderful talk with a couple people, I decided to make the sequel too. The romance may not last, as my brother and co-writer of PD Pie points out one important thing. He is 100 years old. As I said, he is still a colt in body and mind, but in the next story, complication do arise from this young romance. I shan't spoil more, but it shall be dealt with very fairly. I believe I made it very clear rarity approves of Blitzen as a pony, but she herself doesn't know that detail, only Sweetie and the Princesses do at this point.

For Wonder-Colt? I admit, I had to project a little. It was either her, or the other main character. I actually though people would hate he got kicked out of the Guard more, but THIS, of all things, made people mad! IT WAS ONLY A FREAKIN' KISS! They aren't marrying each other! Well, my Silhouette and Zed are, but I made them for back story, and to ship together! Still I acknowledge it was hypocritical! There, I said it! =p

4. WHY IS THIS STORY SO DARK WTF? DID YOU REALLY DO THAT TO GRANNY?

Answer,: Yes, I did, and yes, I plan on perhaps making it even darker, depending on feedback by a few people. 24, while on a regular non-cable network TV channel WAS Dark, but I plan on only making the early part of the story the bleakest. Why? Simple...Pinkie's transition to P.D. Pie makes more sense if something REALLY bad happened! I believe her depression in the show was a some total of all her friend's "lies" and thus, she became a little crazy at the end. I also believe Rainbow never told anyone about it, for her sake. NO! I never read much into the whole Cupcakes back story. I didn't care to. This is my view.

Please rest assured. PD Pie is no monster. Much like Mr. Bauer, there is method to her madness. Yes, she will be caught and punished, but, in the end, she will save many lives. Rainbow will learn things and stretch her loyalty as well. Thus why she is the main character as well. Others, I consider good will also be brought to light for there true nature, but remember, it's a story that at its heart is a Dark Comedy...so don't take it seriously!
