)Final Update for One-Shotober and a Vote! · 8:26am Oct 27th, 2013
Well it a fun run and even though its a little early I'm going to call it quits with the One shots. Mainly I won't have time with my work scheduled but I also want to get back into my other stories I put on the back burner for this event. It was a great run even though I didn't make the half-way mark. Got a lot of positives feedback and helpful criticism. Heck one of the stories got in the feature box. Now I do have 2 more one shot done, one will be released later this morning the other Monday after my pre-readers have a look at it. So I will be walking away from this Challenge with a total of 13 stories. Not bad if i say so myself. All in all even though I didn't hit the 31 mark i feel I was very successful.
Now to the second part of this blog. the Vote. One of the comments i got with many of my one shots was along the lines of "Make a squeal or make this longer into a proper story." Well theirs a lot ideas to work with here and I want to narrow it down to one if i do decide to continue it. yet out of the 13 their are only a few that I want to continue on. I'll let you guys decide which one happens.
1.) The Man in the Duster - Sequel to Dinky's Bedtime Story: The Battleaxe:
Dinky Hooves remember the story her mother told her about the battleaxe that hangs on the wall. Now that she is older she wants to find her father and give him a piece of her mind. Now on a quest to find her missing father Dinky, along with her two best friends Pipsqueek and Pinchy Punch, seek out clue that lead to The Man in the Duster.
2.)Fluttershy and Cliffy: Chaos to Madness - Continuation of Fluttershy and Cliffy
Celestia may be willing to give Cliffy a chance in Equestria, but Discord is not. Driven to protect to first friend he ever made Discord plots to remove Cliffy from Equestria. However things don't always go as planed and his plans end up failing as a mysterious masked man with a staff always shows up to stop Discord.
3.)Misfit Heroes - A series of One-shots set in the same universe as The Drunken Hero
Turns out Ponyville isn't the only Equestrian city with an "odd" hero. Here are the tales of the other heroes of Equestria that are called upon when Mare-Do-Well is not around.
4.)Rebirth of a Wind Demon - Turning from one-shot to ongoing.
