Heartbroken after a rejection from Rarity Spike find love where he least expects it. He also learns some thing about himself he never thought he believed could be true.

This is my first story ever. I was going to release another story but I have yet to finish it I kept getting side tracked. This story really was what I kept getting side tracked with. I will release more if this does well.

After Twilight's ascension to an alicorn, many more ancient evils escaped from their imprisonment and were attempting to destroy or conquer Equestria.

With the elements of Harmony busier than ever dealing with these new threats, Spike grows worried about the increasing danger they're being forced to put themselves in. Tired of being a burden, he searches for a way to become stronger so that he may help, hopefully discovering his own path along the way.

Approached by a dragon whose power and age outmatch those of Princess Celestia, Spike is told he will play a key role in shaping life in Equestria, if not dragon-kind, as he grows older.

Becoming the dragons apprentice soon after, all manner of challenges arise as he trains himself for a responsibility he must eventually take hold of. But among the trials he faces, he must also defeat a darkness that looms within himself, a collected manifestation of his most fragile and darkest emotions that threatens to unleash itself upon the world if his resolve so much as falters.

The fate of Equestria dependent on his resolve, Spike must make dangerous choices that pave the road to peace and harmony or war and chaos.

Spike received a dream, or a vision, or a message, he's not sure. What he is sure of is that he has a calling. A calling from one massive red dragon. When he tries to learn more of dragons, he may have found himself pulled into something much bigger than one meeting.

Spike has finished his chores for the day and has nothing to do. He decides to go for a walk and buy a snack from SugerCube Corner, which he takes to the park to enjoy, when he finds a rather sad pegasi.

Will trying to cheer up this pony turn into something more for them?

This story is a sequel to Queen Takes Dragon

It's been almost five years since Spike and Chrysalis started living together. They are now raising a family of considerable size to a pony, but considered small by changeling standards. With 24 individual changeling foals, some with distinct properties that might make them more mischievous in the coming years, the two can have their hands full from time to time. However their peace becomes threatened when Chrysalis's "side of the family" makes an appearance, things seem to only get more complicated when Chrysalis and the princesses try to take the peaceful diplomatic approach.

Garble's behavior towards Spike and his pony friends - despite being mimicked by his cronies - was unacceptable by the standards of the Elder dragons, and he was taken sorely to task for it. When the Elders decided an apology had to be delivered, Garble's twin sister, Garbledina, volunteered to deliver the apology. She claimed it was a sense of responsibility for her twin's behavior, but in truth she was curious about the 'runt' who so thoroughly got under his skin.

When she actually meets him, however, that curiosity quickly grows to something more. This comes as a shock to Spike and his friends...especially to a certain unicorn mare.

Princess Twilight Sparkle has sought long and hard for the weapon of which the old tales tell. Hellpiercer, mystical lance and bane of the Wraithworm, has at last fallen into her possession.

It was supposed to be a routine flight over the desert, just a relaxing trip to stretch his wings out. He'd done it a thousand times before.

This time, it wasn't so routine.

Part of the Hellpiercer 'verse, but knowledge of that story is not required. Reading the direct prequel How to Hug a Five-Hundred-Foot Tall Dragon is advisable, however.

Ponies like snuggles. Spike likes to give snuggles. But Spike is a five-hundred-foot tall dragon, and finds it difficult to give snuggles without accidentally popping the pony like an overripe tomato in a hydraulic press. Spike believes he has found a solution.
