"Persistence" is nothing more than what they call stubbornness when it turns out to have been for the best all along.

After some words of guidance from the princess of the night, the mare in question knows what she needs to do. But will she be able to walk down the aisle if her hooves are still too cold?
Written as a (late) birthday present for the lovely and talented artist bri-sta, who is also the artist of the image I'm using as a cover, since it's what I used as inspiration for this little story.

Heiress Lucy Burdock knows life has a way of surprising you.

For example, she wasn't expecting a little pink pony for her birthday. She certainly didn't expect it to start talking, either. It was cute at first, but it kinda feels more like taking care of a little kid than a pony. Lucy's never really been great with kids... but she can make it work!
