Thank you for your many years of recommendations!

The Royal Canterlot Library was a website devoted to highlighting the best My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fanfics. Every Friday, the RCL featured a new story and posted an interview with its author. (Interviews were reposted to FIMFiction as well, via the site news feed.)

This is the RCL's official FIMFiction group. As stories are featured, we'll add them to this group's bookshelves for ease of reference. You can click the story folders above to browse them by category, or visit the RCL Archives page for a list of features alphabetized by author.

Hey there!

The Ghost of Coltistrano is a fun, cape and cowl adventure diving into themes of heroism in a conflict spanning three entries, including Restless Peace and Phantom Eulogy. If you've been looking for something to scratch your pulp hero itch, this is the place.

Stop by and enjoy!

TThe Ghost of Coltistrano
There are stories children are told of a figure in black, emerging from the darkness to strike at those who threaten the goodness of the world. This creature is the Ghost, but for young Silver Spade, it's his last hope for vengeance beyond the grave.

Hello, I'm new! I just want to know if we need permission to upload a story or we can upload it ourselves

RIP RCL. You were real good.

it amazes me that the Anthro Folder is empty

How do I add a story?

Hey guys, I haven't been around in a really long time, so I was just wondering if any of you knew where "John Perry" went? Just wanna catch up with the guy since he wrote some fics I remember fondly.

Thank you for the recent mention/interview on Sugarcube in the Corner!!

I joined so I could make these suggestions about improving the contest.

ICR who suggested asking the authors what they thought was their best work. That makes a lot of sense to me & would keep the vote from being split up. +AFAIK, no one else does it that way. (Most limit it to "this year's stuff) It would be a unique feature for you.

Everybody else (Hugo, Nebula, J.W. Campbell Award, etc.) has size categories. I'd suggest at least 2: Novels (70,000 words?) & shorter stuff.

Plus, you could have a category on your web site "Winners of Best of " & maybe run the contest 2 times a year, at least for awhile. List the nominees & let the fans vote for, say, a month before picking a winner.

On your site, you guys need to update your little "Upcoming Features" box more often. Unless you're doing this on purpose because you're desperately running out of interviews to post...

What in the flying furry fuzzy ball of hay not.
Let's bash my head on this group's door for a while and see what they come up with.

This could be interesting, I'll hang out for a while.

Ok. I'm here. We can get started now.:pinkiehappy:

Hmmm, Submissions go where? :unsuresweetie:

Twilight's Library has a very different mission. Despite the name similarity, we're actually much more like the Pony Fiction Vault (one of our direct precursors).

I hope this turns out better than the mess that is "Twilight's Library."
