Very nice fic. I Mane Six Rarity ship fic always entices me and this was certainly no exception!
But added to that, I was listening to 'Infant Dressing Table' while reading this, which is an incredibly relaxing song.
While listening to that and reading this, everything just felt so calm.
It's really quite lovely sometimes to just read a relaxing one-shot built around dialogue. No stressing, just two ponies walking through a wood and chatting before organising a cute little date.
We need more fics like this
This wasn't't bad by any means. Though I would've like it to go into farther detail about what was going to happen.

But she wanted to know. She needed to know in advance. If she went into this thinking that it was a date and it was not, she would not be able to enjoy the evening and would likely do or say something stupid on that assumption. If it was a date and she did not know, she might not notice any of those subtle ‘clues’ that she needed to be aware of.
What's this? A character making a rational observation and enduring a slightly awkward moment in order to easily avoid stumbling into a series of humiliating events that would ultimately culminate in a tearful confession and probably a letter to Princess Celestia? Unheard of!
