that name alone makes this a scary chapter
Now, I know for a fact that Derpy is going to somehow find out about Dusty...and Applejack is probably going to find a way to blame Guilty.
But how odd that a lesbian has troubles with intimacy because she likes male. Usually, it's the other way around (i.e. a straight female being into women).
Good drama here.
5255688 I don't think she overly likes males.
Think about it.
She has him call her a name she hates, she might be dwelling on the fact she boned Derpy's stallion.
She's not going to him just for pleasure, she's going to him for penance too.
That was astoundingly well written. And good advice to couples, as well.
Why do I get this nagging feeling that both Guilty's lie about Golden and the secret about Dusty will eventually be made known to poor Derpy?
Yikes almighty. That was a nailbiter, eh?
Well... They could return to learn from a pro
I'm glad that I stayed up for this. That was some top-notch emotional drama there, and quite the little rollercoaster of revelations to boot.
As always, looking forward to the next chapter.
Amazing chapter. Thank you.
It was a Pleasure (Yes, i did go there.)seeing Goldy pull that stick out of her plot. It was also good to see Guilty grow a bit more out of his shell.
That was some pretty fantastic development for Goldy, it explains so much.
Guilty, you da real MVP.
Man every time I see unread chapter i hope it's from you and as soon as I saw it was i dropped everything. Even what I was reading before hand. I gotta say, this turned out -WAY- better than I thought it was going to as for resolving the conflict. The anger was real and the resolution was believable. Keep up the good work man. And I'm sure you know...The most difficult secret to keep...Is the one you keep from those you love. Time for Guilty to really understand that.
Also...Can i just say I love his analyzing...Like outright love it. I read it in my mind as though I'm racking my brain along with him. I love connecting dots and things like this.
I don't believe that this is a first fic. First pony fic maybe, but not your first forray into writing. It's far too developed, too intricate, too GOOD.
What an interesting chapter. He really missed his counselor calling, eh?
Wow. Fantastic chapter as always. The way you write the characters in this story--and I mean all of them, not just the main cast--is just fantastic. You really bring them to life, and it's a big part of what makes this fic so amazing. Every time I see this show up in my feed with a new chapter, I can tell that it's gonna be a good day.

I'm pretty sure at this point that Derpy finding out about Goldy's sessions is a done deal. She'll notice that Goldy and lily's relationship has improved and she'll ask why and one of them will tell her. But I think the fact that Guilty ended up not only helping them work past Goldy's betrayal but also helped them work through several of the underlying issues that caused her to go to him in the first place will swing things back in his favor. The biggest way his sessions with Carrot Top would have been able to bite him is if it had been revealed in public, a situation where he wouldn't be able to get a hold of both of them and help them deal with things like he wanted to do as soon as he met the two of them together back during poker night.

Being really, really poor can do that. But hey, with how things are going, who knows, he might just get that chance in the future. I mean, he's always offered the service, just that most ponies don't take him up on it. Maybe he'll get more publicity in that department now that he's worked with those two as well as Twilight.
Good chapter but was kinda hoping for a threesome at the end.
I hope that they spread news of this session around. With the emotional turmoil from his point of view, it'd do him good to transition into a Therapist + Fucking role :)
I love this chapter. The intricate way in which Guilty managed to establish communication between Golden and Lily was genius. I love the way he encouraged Golden to open up to her lover and communicate honestly and how he helped Lily to be more patient with her lover. I'm honestly surprised about the incident with Dusty and Golden, as it is quite the plot twist and a huge secret that will haunt Guilty. I did find some humor in the way both mares actually expressed their sex problems with each other due to how awkward they feel and I laughed when Guilty charges them double for a session. This is one if my favorite chapters yet.
Another brilliant chapter. I love such psychological tid-bits. I love how the conflict was actually something deep and personal to all of them. Truly, came for the clop, stayed for the delicious plot
Do carry on, my good man
All I can say is; nicely done.
Something interesting that could come from this would be a didactic session between Guilty and Lilly, although I guess that would be a long shot.
And that secret: I feel that it should stay buried.
Ok, one thing I did NOT see coming was that the main reason 'Carrot Top' was seeing Guilty was that Lily was just terrible in bed.
If Lily is terrible in bed, implies she dont do nothing in the kitchen or such either?
Poor guilty, never innocent. and I hope its been enough chapters since the last time that bad joke was beaten like a dusty carpet.
Pity about derpy, otherwise Guilt wouldve just had a win win situation. Get rid o his worst client, and get better service in town in return.
I wonder who Guilties nxt client to be focused on will be. Given this was an intresting relationship chapter, eveentually he will end up doing a holiday, campink, beach or forest home scene?
Great chapter, i don't even think there's much i can say that others haven said already, so thank you for your work.
FINALLY! We finally get to pull that rod out of Goldy's ass and find out why she hates Guilty so much. I have been waiting for this moment for...for...I don't know. Since she became a character? Since Derpy introduced them? A long friggen time.
So much drama in this chapter though. However, this:
Was comedy gold and made me shake in my seat from laughing so hard. You've done another great chapter, my friend.
5256581
Well your Account pic certainly fits xD
Yet another amazing chapter. Oh the feels. There were so many. I love what you have done and continue to await what you will do. Sooo pleeeease don't stooooop!!!!!!
I really liked this, but I would've liked to see a little more of the prep for what Guilty would've assumed would be a "normal" session, and his surprise seeing Lily there, and the gears turning. The previous chapter ended with Guilty wondering what would happen during this session, but there was nothing on the radar about Carrot Top telling Lily about all of this.
I'm also not sure why Guilty was such a dick at the start.
And, while there's no way it would've worked or made sense or been in character, I also half guessed that Lily would want to learn how Guilty pleasures Carrot Top, but that's just me wanting more of the clop lol
Great chapter. Thanks.

Let's start a lawsuit against this story. I mean, as long as we aren't sleeping, there should be MORE chapters, right?
WE DEMAND MORE CHAPTERS
Right? Less sleep is more ponies. That's a good trade-off
Ponies.
Yes
These are some of my favorite chapters. The ones that show that Guilty is more than a walking meatstick. He's one of the most genuinely intriguing characters I've encountered, either in fanfiction or otherwise, and I always find myself wanting to learn more about him. He's a puzzle to be solved, each layer we find revealing another to peel away. It's fascinating and it keeps me hooked. That, sir, is the mark of a fine character.
And it's always pleasant to explore the mentality/psychology of sex. There's a lot of that in this story as a whole, and I've actually found it to be quite educational (the chapter on BDSM was a particular highlight.) Basically, you've managed to keep just about every aspect of this story interesting, even almost 180,000 words in, to the point where I don't really anticipate any particular kind of chapter, because I know that all of them will be entertaining.
That is what's truly impressive about all this. Like another commenter said, this may be your first pony story, but it damn sure doesn't read like your first foray into writing.
Looking forward to the next chapter.

Sorry guys, this is my first real attempt at writing fiction.
I was never even all that into fanfiction at all until MLP. Thanks so much for the compliment, though.
This is a great story, period. Not just fan fiction but anywhere. With a few tweaks to turn the characters human, you could very well have a hit on your hands.
5257205
You have quite a lot more than a mere something of a talent in writing then. Should you enjoy delving deeper into the craft it wouldn't sound unreasonable to me that you might actually make some money off of it.
I think you've nailed the reason why I enjoy this story that much. I believe this was the best chapter so far.
I can't wait to read more .
5255705
Not anymore at least.
I've had Goldy pegged as physically straight/bi with a male preference, but emotionally lesbian, for a while now. This does little to change it. I wonxer how dark the Dusty arc could get though.
The problem is... will Derpy find out about this? Not about Dusty, but that Goldy was using Guilty to cheat? She might not like that.
And Celestia help him if AJ finds out.
One suggestion.....go professional
I love Guilty cold reading abbilities.
He is like Sherlock Holmes.
Btw, great chapter once again. Keep up the good work
5258223 See, I've been thinking about this since Crook came in. Guilty would be an excellent therapist.
Its always such a treat when you release a chapter
Well, that situation went well. Better than it could've been. I'm glad that it has a chance to work out between Lily and Goldy...regardless of how terrible Goldy was. Now, onto the next chapter!
*clicks the next button*
*clicks it again*
*slowly realize the next button isn't there*
...sweet merciful Celestia, what have I done? I'VE BROKEN THE INTERNET! THERE HAS TO BE MORE CHAPTERS, I'VE BEEN READING THIS FOR 8 HOURS STRAIGHT!
I'm going to bed. I'm sure that when I wake up, this horrid nightmare will be over.
5255801
Are you saying that Guilty and Goldy talked things out, went on a rollercoaster of emotions, and learned an important lesson about the meaning of Friendship?
...
Nah, that would never happen.
(I love foreshadowing and wordplay. It's always amazing.)
Thank you for sharing this. I really needed something good to read tonight, something that felt.. real.
Personally, I don't think I could have worked up the ... courage is probably the wrong word... the something to remind them that they had to pay in the end. For me it would have felt like a betrayal of friendship, I guess, but I can objectively understand why Guilty did it.
5258194
That might not be an issue now that they've started communicating. The worst-case scenario was all of these secrets spilling out at the same time in a big, angry stew. Helping Lily and Goldy work things out may be the best move he's made in Ponyville.
I assumed we were going to get a horrible meltdown near the end, with Derpy at least temporarily losing faith in Guilty, AJ going ballistic and convincing him to leave town, and so forth, but now that might not be appropriate. He really is starting to grow into this role as a counselor, and that's winning him more and more genuine friends.
The issues Guilty still has to worry most about are his own: His insecurity with his own sexuality, his lack of experience with long-term relationships, the emotional baggage from Manehattan, and his instinctive urge to treat every conversation as a battle to be won. I can't tell what sort of climax (ho ho ) makes the most sense to wrap up his story.
5258838
Yeah, but Friend Guilty would've just ducked and covered (and NOT been covering Goldy!) Professional Guilty was who helped them.
5259095
Yeah, but if AJ finds out, do you *really* think she'll care that it worked out in the end?
5259095
And, just to explain, here's where I could see things going badly with Derpy:
Lily and Derpy have lunch tomorrow. Lily, unable to keep from blabbing about SOMETHING, lets slip that Goldy was seeing Guilty on the sly. This is the best case scenario of things she could blab, since hopefully Derpy will recognize that that's a Goldy problem, not a Guilty problem.
The real problem is if, from there, Dusty comes up....
I'd have to say this is your best chapter so far. Keep it up!
This was extremely good, especially when looking at this kind of drama compared to the explosions I'm comfor table with (both in the media I enjoy and in the writing I do). I've found that despite the fact that some action can be quite simply awesome, pure action does not a story make. This kind of thing: that's called depth. Being able to see that a character is more than a set of words on paper and that their actions have real meaning to them and the other characters is often much more important than any amount of danger, epicness, sexiness, or whatever else.
You sir! Are officially a writer I look up to!
ALL HAIL DISCO KNIGHT!
