These last couple of weeks have been a bit of a rollercoaster. Good things have happened, and also bad ones. No wonder I could relate to both Furina and Navia in the latest Isekai chapter. Sometimes pretending things are fine is really exhausting, even if they do get better.

First, to everyone waiting patiently for the next Isekai chapter, I apologize for the delay. I know there are a lot of people that want to see another visit to Hell happen soon, and it will, I promise. However, due to some circumstances, I decided for a different pair of visitors to visit the bar this week.

I found it a highly amusing chain/web of events incorporating details gleaned from the show.
Part mystery. I found the dialogue amusing and the mystery itself intriguing.
Celestia's staff (depicted as competent and mostly intelligent; I don't see that often) nonetheless encounter difficulties during the holiday season.
I thought it an interesting look from the perspective of this particular character (type). Amusing meta, of sorts.
Gummy, written before Slice of Life episode. Read twice to double the fun.
You ever worked retail? You might find this cathartic.
Not sure if it's a comedy with romance or a romance backed up by comedy. Still a favorite.

On a more serious note, these three stories are absolutely fantastic and none of them involve humans or Pinkie. And if you're feeling adventurous, the troll rec with humans and Pinkie is actually pretty solid.

It's a dark comedy obviously, but lighthearted in the oddest possible way.
And I'm linking only my own story because I read way too much stuff and don't want to go looking though that mountain for something to suggest. In other words it's more laziness that self promotion.
