Equestria appeared on Earth and many had no idea what to expect. Then the Conversion Bureaus opened and the racism of the majority of the pony race was exposed. Then came the PER and forced conversion, which Celestia turned a blind eye to, and in doing so gave non-verbal tacit approval to. The Solar Tyrant believed that Earth would soon be hers, and many on Earth believed their defeat was inevitable.

The arrival of a SECOND Equestria threw expectations out the window.

Now Earth has new, powerful allies willing to take up arms. Earth calls for aid....

While attempting to capture a rogue leader with ties to Russian Ultranationalist rebels, Lieutenant Alberto Vasquez and Sergeant Paul Jackson are ordered to evacuate the city of Basrah before their quarry's forces detonate a stolen nuke. But the warning comes too late and the device explodes, sending their Sea Knight transport spinning out of control and the pair of Marines plummeting to their deaths.

Certain they are dead, the pair come to in a strange new place, a lush land filled with wonderous and sometimes deadly creatures. A place where magic exists, where dragons are real, and the natives are four-legged... and place a surprisingly high premium on friendship. Making their way through this unfamiliar world full of wonder and danger, they soon find they aren't the only things that crossed over. So too did some friends. After fighting off the alien fleet that menaced Earth, XCOM turns their focus to warning other worlds of the possible threat. When Doctor Moira Vahlen is accidentally sent to one of those worlds, she learns that the the invaders have attacked Equestria. Who will protect them from the horrors they're about to face?

When Equestria’s newest member of royalty asks for aid to be offered to her friends from abroad, the best and the brightest volunteer to serve. Captain Steel Song of the Dusk Guard are immediately mobilized to help XCOM defend their world from the enemies that besiege them.
