Well, today I turn 37. It may be my birthday, but you guys get the gift! I promised updates were coming. I know, I know. I promised two by my birthday. Things got a little crazy. But I did managed to get one up. The other is still in the works and I may be able to get it uploaded, if not published, by the end of the night. Keep your fingers crossed. The Shogunverse LIVES!!!!!

Well, like so many of us, I saw season five's premiere today and I have to say it was a strong opening to the season. Starlight Glimmer makes for a compelling, if dark, villain for the series. When the premiere came to an end the first thing that went through my mind was basically "Holy shit, we have an Arc Villain!" Something the series has sorely lacked.
