Time. They say with time that good things come. Whether it be days, weeks, months. But, time works differently in all the different places you go. But a forest, time cannot be told. Time does not work.

Twilight wakes up in a mysterious forest, not knowing how she had gotten there. She does not know anything before she had woken up, all except one thing, studying a spell for Princess Celestia. Could this last memory have anything to do with how she got to the forest? It is up to Twilight to survive in order to solve what happened.

King Sombra survived his defeat, but just. By the time he returned to form, Twilight became the newest princess of Equestria and the Crystal Empire was restored to its former glory.

He cannot take over Equestria the same way he tried before, but he has a card up his sleeve. Twilight won't see it coming, and Sombra might gain a powerful ally in the process.

And it will all begin...with a book.

A thousand years ago, Princess Celestia banished her sister to the moon, that much we know. What wasn’t known, and what Celestia kept secret was that before her banishment, Luna had given birth to a foal. Now a thousand years later, as Nightmare returns to Equestria to bring about Eternal Night.

Twilight Sparkle, protege of Princess Celestia, struggles against the tyranny of this ancient foe. But how will she be able to save herself and her friends when the truth of this ancient legend crashes down upon her? Twilight will have to confront herself...and her heritage.

Instead of banishing Nightmare Moon, Celestia successfully separates Luna and the nightmare, and both then seal it in the moon, but the stain of both acts are too much for the Princesses and both perish, but not before giving the prophecy of their return. 1000 years later is a changed Equestria, a splintered government, no advanced school of magic, difficult weather patterns, and a looming threat from the Moon. Can the reborn Princesses be found in time? Is friendship still the best hope for a happy tomorrow? The more things change...

King Sombra and Queen Crysalis invaded Canterlot, when all hope was nearly lost the bearers of the elements fought desperately but one by one they were entrapped in a crystal resin, Twilight was about to have the same fate but Princess Celestia threw herself in front of her student becoming entrapped herself, with no one left to help her she was overpowered by the evil duo.

She was dragged down to the crystal caverns beneath the castle, Tied to a crystal pillar and left to die a slow death, will insanity seep in before her death and take her or will something else arise from the darkness within, only time will tell.

This is a story about the relationship between a filly and a changeling in a forest. Where after the queen of changelings was defeated Twilight Sparkle had a magical freakout and turned into a filly.

Chrysalis wakes from her exile to find that Princess Twilight has crashed in the forest around her new home. What will the once proud Changeling Queen do?

Years have past since the changelings were driven away from Equestria, giving room for peace and love. Suddenly, Twilight is captured in the middle of the night, and is brought to the hooves of Queen Chrysalis. Seeing that she has captured the element of magic, she is determined to gain her revenge against both Twilight and anyone that has ever wronged her.

Using her dark magic, the queen transforms the unicorn into a horrifying creature. Will Twilight hold on to her sanity, and more importantly, her devotion to friends?

Or will she slip into the darkness, and lose all hope.
