Uh-Oh.
Poor Twilight.
Damn you... that was just too cruel, doin this to Twilight's parents!
let me guess, somehow the uber-spell she cast has killed/is going to kill her parents(assuming that healing is not possible)
damn i didn't make it to the end yet... (i read the rest tomorrow! pinky promise!)
but why is it so hard for most of the ponys to get the concept of immortality. and what it mean for the princesses to get to close to some of their people ?
there really needs to be more good Twiluna clop.
Luna can't be that heartless can she?
It's = Abbreviated form of "it is".
Its = Something belonging to it, much like "his", "her"...
Instead, she channeled the energies, letting the spell run it is course. This was a spell designed for utter obliteration of anything within it is borders. It wasn’t going to stop until it was done.
Is this supposed to be a hint at some sort of pony bondage?
O SHIT. Yes, this power will definitely change the face of equestria. on a side note how much do you want to bet that she has ultimate power but still can't save her parents.
Also I understand that Luna is immortal and Twilight will eventually die, but come on Luna. You just made love to the poor thing and now your just going to avoid her? The poor thing that can now squash you like a bug but still.
Almost commonplace that the Archmage had a unique sense of humor, and was generally friendly to his constituency
"His" should be "her"

Remember how the powers of shadow magic extend to hatred? I'm betting Luna's doing this on purpose. Also, Shining said he can't believe they didn't tell her - "they" as in "Celestia and Luna", perhaps? That would certainly do the trick, though I have a hard time believing Luna'd go that far.
Sorry...
Wow, never imagined Luna got more than one tounge. Yeah, I get the idea of this sentence, it's just odd. Might be late hour though.
So, she suddenly forgot it?
That ending does not bode well...
Half past midnight... bah, reading away!
Oh my, I worry for Twi's parents. I hope we get to learn what caused it for whatever reason, because I'm curious now. Was it caused by Twilight, or something else? Well, I suppose I'll find out soon enough. Homework, then reading.

Well. Shite. And this on top of all the crap that's already been piling on top of Twilight. On the other hoof, I guess all this will come in handy once she starts learning about the magic of Hate and Sorrow
Luna feels the trembling of canterlot, looks for the sorce, see's twilight demolishing the mountin, then says ... I'm dead
I can't help but wonder if this is some new lesson from Luna. Perhaps she has to tempt Twilight to try using her shadow magic without humility... Feeling spurned would certainly be a way to bring that about. Or perhaps it's about other magics - hate, sorrow, the like. I desperately hope that it isn't that Luna was just leading her on for the lesson. The former I would have a hard time forgiving, but I'd manage, knowing that teaching the new lesson is just as hard for Luna as it is for Twilight. The latter... Yeah, that's not okay.

There are quite a few paragraphs that need indenting.

I know things work out for Luna and Twilight eventually, but this chapter really makes me want to pimp slap Luna into the next century.
Wow. Always respect the night ehh? Well that death ray column of dark magic stunt is proof that you took one step forward and two steps back.
7516952 how did she not respect the night please explain cause from what i read she was respectful

You seem to take the attitude that just because Twilight blew up a mountain, it indicates a lack of respect? Remember, Twilight asks for stuff, but the Night decides how much she gets.
