Twilight was slowly coming to grips with the fact that her side-job of 'Ponyville Private Investigator' was never going to pan out. Now, though, the biggest whodunit of her unimpressive career falls into her lap. With the dubious 'help' of her assistant, Pinkie Pie, she sets out to solve one last mystery.

A comedy-mystery full of suspense and fun Twilight vs. Pinkie bickering! Minds will be blown. Chapter lengths may be erratic and sometimes very short, but I will be adding two chapters every day. (24 chapters and 14,800 words total.)

My guess: Rarity. (as she was looking to wed Royalty, thus King, and of course she uses pins in her work, although that would make her a queenpin, but it's close enough.)

Considering we have no idea what this case even involves, I'll abstain my guess for now. If this follows the usual tropes, it'll probably be Fluttershy.

Interesting. Very interesting. Reminds me of Pinkimena Diane Pie: Consultant Detective. Here, Twilight isn't Sherlock Holmes, but I think the journey will still be enjoyable.

I'm going to guess Pinkie Pie is the Kingpin, as I'm absolutely horrible at figuring out Whodunit mysteries and my only chance is to guess at (mostly) random before anyone else does.

My mind is telling me that it is Spike since he has connections in Canterlot, his innocent, naive act hides a devious mind, and he would know how to circumnavigate Twilight since he lives with her all the time, hence why he is so meticulous with the exact spot to hide the money on train.
