Author's Note:This is a Time Skip ahead, a couple of months after Princess Cadence gives birth to her and Shining Armor's foal. This is by no means canon to the show, and I simply did this for fun.

This is a continuation of what happens shortly after Princess Cadence and Shining Armor give the good news about their oncoming foal. When Cadence and Shining Armor share the good news everypony is happy. And things go smoothly for the next eleven months leading up to delivery. However all is not as it seems when a looming shadow sets it's sights on what could be it's only change to freedom.

Sunset had a friend, once.

She didn't know his parents, didn't know where he lived, and didn't even know his name. But he was willing to talk to her when others simply ignored or ridiculed.

Then she got her cutie mark.

Twilight Sparkle has spent years as Discord's protege, studying the Magic of Chaos. But when rumors of a strange phenomenon dubbed "Friendship" show up in a small outlying town, the Emperor sends his star student to find out what's going on. Twilight goes with the best intentions and quickly discovers there is more than meets the eye going on in Ponyville...

When a pirate named Captain Jack Silver steals the Elements of Harmony and kidnaps the Cutie Mark Crusaders, it's up to Twilight and the rest of the Mane Six who now must take to the high seas in order to get them back. When the Mane Six finally find them, they all soon find themselves joining Jack and his crew on a swashbuckling adventure filled with challenging spirits, terrible storms and demonic pirates, all of which act as obstacles that stand in their way of finding the SEVENTH Element of Harmony.

Things haven’t exactly gone well for Trixie. Ever since the Alicorn Amulet incident she has seen her own fortunes shrink while Twilight's continues to soar. Now Twilight is an Alicorn and Trixie feels left behind. But Trixie has a plan; one Discord is all too willing to aid her in. For a price.
