When King Sombra is defeated by the main six, his soul still remains. That very soul re-enters Equestria as a foal, a filly to be exact. What will happen to the peaceful world, when its biggest menace is reborn?

Anthea has seen the world as blobs of color for her entire life. Somepony offers her the chance of a lifetime, true sight. What is the price of this gift, and will the pain of losing the sight be worth the temporary delight in having it?

Twilight has discovered a new spell to use in tandem with the Elements of Harmony. Its intent is to reveal more of the mysteries behind the artifacts. Yet once the spell is cast will the mane six be able to deal with the consequences? What will they learn when they come face to face with the very virtues they claim to embody? It's been a thousand years since anypony has seen the sun.

A thousand years since Celestia's name has been spoken, and all memory of her warmth and light has faded away into the night. The sun goddess of old had been killed during a coup by her sister, Nightmare Moon.

In this world of unrelenting darkness, three ponies find a ray of light. Hope.

Over a thousand years ago, two royal siblings fought for the sky and were exiled, one by her sister's hoof, and one in penance for what she had done.

In the present Republic of Equestria, no one remembers them as anything more than legends and old pony tales. Save for one shy filly who fell from the sky one fine summer's day.

An Alternate Universe "What If" tale, reconstructing the beginning from a different angle.

Everyone has their story. Everyone has their origins and the immortal are no exception, even the ones we call monsters. The story of this immortal "monster" however, starts in the most mundane places with the most unexpected of families, one of simple ponies; A caring father who's hobby simply won't bring home the bread, a callous mother who hates for a blessing ripped away, a sister of unusual gifts and of course, our centrepiece, the forever twisted pony.

We will watch her learn, we will watch her grow, we will watch cruel fates be inflicted upon her but most importantly we will watch her face her destiny...

After the events of Twilight's Kingdom, vegetation across Ponyville has been thrown into disarray thanks to Twilight's new unintentional death castle. But while some plants have been sucked dry, others have flourished, such as the infamous Poison Joke.
