Throughout Tom's intergalactic journey with a certain blue colored mare, he would break the universe record for the longest hug with Fluttershy (14 years, 54 days, 1 hour, 43 minutes, and 17 seconds), become Pink Celestia for a year in the Girl's toys aisle, cause a fashion crisis, serve as Mayor of Ponyville for a week, teach a class of fillies, eat the left hand of Discord ("Fried and cooked to perfection," as the chef calls it ), meet the universe's biggest Brony with the intent on assimilating all that is pony-related, chat with Twilight Sparkle, party with Pinkie Pie, and somehow cause the 1456th war in Equestria, this time involving nuclear pies.

Hired Gun and Serenity from "Fallout Equestria: Heroes" take a train ride as part of a job and cross paths Citquine and Celly from "Fallout Equestria: Wings" in this fun and completely non-canon stand alone adventure.

This story takes takes place in an alternate time line branching off some point after Chapter 11 of Heroes, so reading to that point would be helpful for understanding who the characters are. This story also takes place some time after the end of Wings, but knowledge of that series isn't too required.

A noble earth-pony family, fallen somewhat on hard times, is killed in a mining accident. They leave behind a single male heir, who is in sore need of a guardian, and of protection. Celestia takes the young pony under her wing and delivers him not to ponies - not earth, unicorn or pegasus - but to a dragon, an ambassador, an old friend of hers.

Playing a game which may just be deadly to the uninformed, the dragon decides that the one path open to him to ensure the safety of his charge and to carry out his sworn duty, is to adopt.

When Rainbow Dash goes out to practice a new technique, she comes across an unexpected pony.

Snakebite Tourniquet was quite content to work as a healer on a merchants caravan, but then he finds himself alone in the desert with his body changed beyond recognition. He tries to find out why this has happened to him and eventually this leads him back home to the Neigherra Madre Mountains.
