James Kaughn is a member of the world's most elite fighting force, but when his team is sent in to rescue a captive family in Afghanistan the mission hits a snag. He stays behind to allow the others to escape, fully expecting to die, but ends up in an unfamiliar place. Join him as he meets new challenges and struggles with his worsening PTSD. Small prologue of the story:
The cold wind rushed across her face as she desperately tried to outrun the pony chasing her. Her hooves hammered into the snow as she ran. She was breathing hard and fearing for her life, but it was no use. He was right behind her and catching up, but she didn't notice. The wind was loud in her ears roaring like a storm and her heart pounded in her chest. The moment she turned her head to see if he was still there he attacked, slamming her body on the ground. Her breath got knocked out of her and the shock of the impact didn't give her time to react. When she finally ignited her horn he had already cast a spell on her. She drew her last breath before darkness enveloped her vision. (read to find out what happens. ;-)

Lock Light wasn't always an alicorn. He wasn't always King Sombra's son. He didn't always have White Lightning as a brother. But Lock Light was always true to himself.

The Decepticons come to Equestria to obtain all their resources. With the Autobots stuck on Earth, and magic having little effect on Transformers, the Decepticons have little to oppose them. Starscream is pulled out to a different light from seeing the planet and starts to remember how he used to be before the Cybertronian war and little more 'organic' insight of the planet.

Rainbow Dash however isn't going to let her planet go without a fight and she has back up from an unlikely source.

John was a simple man living in a big city. When he meets a strange woman, his life is forever changed. Surrounded by changelings and under the influence of their queen, can he keep his sanity and resist the curse placed upon him? Or will he be forced to commit atrocities and bring Equestria to its knees before Queen Chrysalis?
