The Elements of Harmony are missing, and Raindrop needs them to quell the rising curse of her ancestry that threatens to consume her. At first, Chrysalis loathed him; the dumb-as-a-brick woodspony who goes by the name of Evergreen. But through circumstance, he is her only savior. And slowly, she comes to love the simple pony and his way of life. But her life as a changeling keeps holding her back. Will there be a happily ever after for them? Or are they doomed for failure?

This story is a sequel to What Will Make You Happy

Chrysalis plans to revive King Sombra so that they may rule all of Equestria together, but to bring him back she needs pieces of an ancient artifact scattered all across the farthest confines of Equestria.

However, to make sure there's no interference from the Elements of Harmony, Sombra gives Chrysalis some of his magic, which she uses to use the Princesses to stone, and capture both Twilight and Cadence, both pregnant with their respective husbands' babies. Chrysalis also kidnaps the Mane Six and and separates them into different parts of Equestria so that they won't rise up against her.

So it's up to Shining Armor, Discord, Screwball and Spike to rescue their wives, the Elements of Harmony, defeat both Chrysalis and Sombra, and change the princesses back to normal. However, Discord is haunted by nightmares and visions of Twilight dying at childbirth, and this stirs his worst fears of losing her, something of which Chrysalis and Sombra decide to take advantage of.

Will they get to the Elements in time?

Chrysalis is beaten. Her invasion of Canterlot has failed. Her hive has been scattered to the winds. And with Equestria on guard, love is in short supply. She has failed her people, and now the future looks bleak and grim.

But there’s a change in the air. Chrysalis can feel it in her bones and in her dreams. Something is calling to her, drawing her and the remnants of her hive north. To the place the changelings once called home.

Placed sixth in the August 2015 Write-Off Event: Distant Shores.

The changelings nearly succeed in their invasion of Equestria. But who is Queen Chrysalis? Where did the changelings come from? And why do they feed of another being's love?

The story of Chrysalis, starting with her upbringing by the land's rulers and onwards. Her fall, her attack, and perhaps a few stories unknown to most.

Turquoise Blitz and Anthea have been together since foalhood. Now the newly married couple are expecting their first child, and must now face all the ups and downs of pregnancy.

Four days after the marriage of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence, as well as the defeat of Queen Chrysalis, Fluttershy receives a visit by Twilight. Twilight tells her that if she sees any changelings, she needs to tell her immediately, on Celestia's orders. Fluttershy, not wishing to do so, begins thinking about it, and the things she thinks of makes her anxious and uneasy. In doing so, she decides to take a walk into the Everfree Forest to calm her mind and enjoy the view. While admiring the scenery, she trips on something. Looking back, she finds something she feared having to find, for the risk of being shunned by her society-a hurt changeling. Because of the nature of Celestia's instructions, Fluttershy must make a tough decision: Whether to turn this changeling in or to bring it into her home to make it better.

The real question is will Fluttershy fall to the peer pressure of society, or will she do what her heart tells her is right?
