Octavia Philharmonica, the sweet young cellist with hopes and dreams to spare, has finally saved enough bits to move to Canterlot, the city where dreams are made! However, Octavia is greeted with more disdain than she expected; not that she had been expecting any to begin with. She's such an innocent pony, why would anyone think she was a horrible thug?

Follow Octavia as she tries her best to traverse the city, and deal with the ponies that seem to hate her for something she can't help, and the ponies who see her for who she is, and give her a chance.

This story is about an introverted DJ with an extreme alter-ego who is looking to catch the eye of a famous cellist, a lyrist trying to win over a candy maker at the mall, and something about how love is never easy or straight-forward.

Vinyl Scratch and Octavia moved in together a few months ago, and have been together even longer. Be that as it may, Octavia has never seen her lover without her trademark glasses, and she can't help but wonder why.

Octavia hates her life. She's the conductor of the orchestra she's played in for years, and suddenly realizes she hates everything about it. She just wants some freedom, some joy, something to smile about.

Fate brings these two together, and you get the auspicious opportunity to read their story.
