The party was cute, also random explosive temper is unexpected.
9467632 Fire is often more associated with temper and violence than other elements, and power corrupts, so a bit of that, especially combined with it being new to her, would likely do that. After all, one does not simply wield new powers perfectly from the start, especially when they're unexpected.

I understand that, I was referring to the trigger for the bout.
Very good chapter. Guess we should be thankful that RD didn't suggest lighting farts, lol.
Less named Bruticus after than modeled him after a combiner.
That's a awesome chapter, a birthday chapter on my birthday :)
Next up on Transfor...I mean I burn! A minotaur named Superion and lots and lots of fire.
That was a nice Gathering for Yang's Birthday. I'm guessing she needed this after all that has happened and that she tried to distract herself. But she also should remember all of the good deeds she's done for Equestria.
Seems that Yang has gained another new ability. It also has to do with the fact that "Fire" is Yang's Element.
I think I just recognized why I like this story as much as I do. The writings good, the situation is decently believable, and the character development is nicely steady, but for a displaced story you have kept the crossovers to a minimum which is my biggest PEEVE with displaced.
I really appreciate that you keep the crossovers down and actually write your story first without other authors involvement since other people tend to fall in and out of fandom and that can make using their displaced character hard to impossible. Or if your hinging a battle off their character and they suddenly disappear from fandom/the site the story hangs and the author of the original story gets discouraged/moves on.
So Kudos to you good sir/kind miss
9468929 Why thank you. My goal from the start was to make my crossovers have as little impact on the story as possible, which is a peeve of mine, along with their overabundance. Some impact, sure, but not anything like a whole new power or something big like that. Hinging your story on other people's work, unless you can reasonably visit them IRL, is risky and, quite frankly, dumb. In addition to the reasons you listed, there's also the possibility of an author not liking how the crossover is developing and calling it off, something I've had to do before. Who was the other person? Well, I'll keep that confidential.
The way I go about planning crossovers is quite simple:
1: Read the other author's story.
2: Discuss ideas if I like the story, preferably on Discord.
3: Make a shared planning Gdoc with events in a linear order and an idea section for random tidbits.
4: Write the chapter. This is the longest stage, and I prefer using two Gdoc tabs for the chapters, one being mine, the other being, well, the other. Have them both onscreen at the same time so you can see them side by side.
5: After going over the chapter(s) and making any necessary revisions, publish it, preferably at the same time as the other author.
6: Most importantly, make new friends. It is magic, after all.
suggested she write a letter, and she suddenly decides to put it off and sleep instead? hmmm.... suspicious
9471179 After using up that much energy, wouldn't you suggest resting up before doing much else?
9472177
i would, but it's still suspicious. especially when she isn't the only one. could be just a gag tho. xD
Bruticus maximus dumbinus.
9487933 Yeah, the Energon version of Bruticus was rather dumb. Looked alright, but compared to the Combiner Wars version, no contest.
I have a backlog to read through, apparently. Anyway, I remember being told that it's impossible to perfectly tune a piano. I think it had something to do with the number of keys and resonance.
