Twilight's an Alicorn, a race that is known to have a lifespan that borderlines eternity. So of course, she knew it would be hard for her to have that special somepony that she would love for the rest of her life. But with a bit of magic and science, she was able to make a special somepony that would love her forever.

"...we could be stuck doing this for all eternity!" Twilight said.
"That's fine with me!" Starlight responded.
Starlight never thought that Twilight was actually being serious.

What would have happened if Starlight hadn't turned herself over to Twilight? If she rejected friendship, even after being given a chance to come back?

Starlight Glimmer is strong. She always has been. She always will be.
But Twilight wants that to change.

Starlight Glimmer is TRYING to be a good friend, but she just has this awful tendency to overreact at just about anything.

Like trying to rule over an entire village of brainwashed ponies because a friend moved away.

Rainbow Dash's life as a soldier during the Crystal War is much like the lives of everypony else around her, full of hardships and struggles. However, there are a few positive moments that keep hope alive. But achieving victory and ensuring a brighter future may be significantly tougher than she expects despite the support from her friends.

Unfortunately, the beginning of her journey is defined by the moment she lost her wing.

For Derpy Hooves, it seems like every day gets worse than before. Her whole life she has been seen as nothing but a rolling disaster. She's seen as a clueless, quirky, messed up pony, simply due to her walleyed disability. How can she possibly hope to erase the stereotypes she was assigned? For Derpy, it's impossible.

Impossible, that is, until she chances into a certain purple unicorn. Will this meeting be yet another failure, or could it be the opportunity she's been looking for, and how could that opportunity affect her life?
