That was... Powerful. I really enjoyed that, as it does offer an alternative mindset to the Rainbow Dash we all know and love. To see her as an active soldier is an interesting experience.

Seems interesting so far. I especially like how you started the story and how you made the contrast in the characters' personalities. The last part with the bomb seemed a bit rushed, and I think Dash would have bigger reactions to getting her wing seared off. You could probably describe the shock and the pain more. But other than that, it was a good read, and I look forward to the next chapter.

When I saw Dash fighting in the season finale, her armor reminded me of a Astra Milliatarum soldier, besides that, really good chapter! You have my attention...

The season finale has spawned so much creativity these last few days. The cover art (which is what drew me to this instantly), the story itself, everything. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this come out, because it shows great promise. I was actually going to change my avatar to that picture by Tsitra that you used, but I got lucky and had Dileak make my new Apocalypse Dash avatar in a stream. Gotta say, I love how both turned out. I'll be tracking this story, so you'd best keep on writing it!

6705142 Yeah, when I looked at the design for Rainbow Dash's prosthetic wing, the idea kind of took form in my head. And since she's fighting in a war, such features might prove useful in the heat of battle. Anyway, thank you for taking a look at the new chapter. I highly appreciate it!
I did enjoy it, and nice touch with the wing as a CC weapon, it makes sense, as she's pretty much vulnerable without having both wings functioning, and now she has a way to defend herself if she gets in a sticky situation
Log III: The Pie Drills

6705874 They'll be using more conventional weapons and forms of combat akin to what happened in the first chapter throughout the entirety of the story. As for the training exercises Limestone will have the ponies perform, I do have a few ideas in terms of the next chapter. It should be quite fun to work on. And thank you for the compliment as well. Woot, new chapter! So it looks like 2 of the mane 6 (if they were around at the time) are starting to make friends, but of course, Sombra goes and attacks the changelings putting a damper on things.

6757673 Sorry, but while I can say that the changelings will make physical appearances in the future, I can't quite reveal the answer to that question just yet. Such a question will be important later on in the story. However, like in the show, Chrysalis and the changelings are definitely quite dangerous and not to be messed with.
