RainbowDash, hot headed fighter jock and leader of Wonderbolt squardron goes on a routine close support mission that is anything but routine.
She is reunited with a long ago lover and she and her squadron get sucked into a secret plot, designed to throw all of humanity into world war three! RainbowDash needs all her quick thinking and amazing flying skills to make it through this one.

When Sweetie Belle stumbles into the Carousel Boutique injured in the middle of the night, it's up to Rarity and her group of friends to piece together just what has happened. As the night turns into day they will learn a lesson in both bravery as well as sacrifice.

Originally featured on Equestria Daily on December 15, 2011, this was my first shot at writing a piece of fanfiction and is now presented here with some grammar fixes and other tweaks.

Before Twilight and her friends saved the Crystal Empire, its ruler had to watch it die. Long before she meets Shining Armor and Twilight, Cadence walks through her home for the last time.

Alicorn Malign, an up and coming heavy metal band from Manehattan, is stuck in Ponyville for a week after a family of manticores wrecks the train tracks. For two of the members, Ponyville holds a lot of memories, and not all of them are pleasant.

Rated T for slightly suggestive situations and language, obscure and semi-obscure song and band references, and explicit use of pony puns in metal bands.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
In light of a recent Season 3 episode, I'm rewriting this entire story to improve the continuity whilst editing it. I apologize for any disappointment this may cause, but I promise it will be worth it in the end.

Chrysalis has been driven home as her father and mother are removed from the throne of Noraak Thu'm, and must flee to Equestria to remain safe. There though she meets Cadence, a beautiful girl who she falls in love with, and has conquered her heart. This is the story of the love that develops between Chrysalis and Cadence, and Chrysalis's rise to power as queen of the Changelings.

Totally Cadence/Chrysalis shipping, and definently Alternate Universe. Also it is very much human!
