Tinker was always the black sheep of her family. Though she is as greedy as the rest, while they preferred to play the goblin nation's stock-market, Tinker enjoyed creating various gizmos and gadgets for honest selling. Unfortunately, her own inventions always seemed to be quickly outclassed by those coming from leading companies (and sometimes tended to blow up).

This was until one day, Tinker had an idea. An idea that would send her half-way across the world. If her own people didn't want her inventions, perhaps she could make it big in a much more primitive nation...

Will Tinker find that money doesn't make the girl, and learn that the magic of friendship conquers all ambition? Well, probably not. She is a goblin after all. However, with a bit of effort, perhaps the socially awkward goblin will learn that friendship may be worth something after all...

A month of being stranded in Ponyville has driven the Doctor to near madness. However, with the TARDIS finally fixed the last Time Lord is ready to begin exploring a new frontier. Of course, he won't be going without his trusty walking history book, Twilight. Brought back to the end of the War for the Sky where Nightmare Moon and Celestia clash, the Doctor and Twilight are set to uncover an old enemy's meddling with the time stream. However, mysterious third party may not be so happy about time being toyed with by either good or evil. An unflinching geekfest of a fanfic. I regret nothing.

This story is a sequel to Upheaval: Breaking Point

Following the events of Breaking Point, Twilight Sparkle and her friends discover that Equestria's demise may not come from an enemy invasion, but from within. This is a direct sequel to my previous fic The Quandary of DisQord and is, of course, another Star Trek: The Next Generation / Friendship is Magic crossover. This time, however, Q has decided to bring the crew of the Enterprise-D along for the ride as well.

This is a much lighter story than Quandary was (since Quandary was the story of Discord's reign prior to his first defeat, it was bound to be a bit on the dark side). Also, be warned, though I tried to keep them to a minimum, there are still a few references to and spoilers for Quandary in this fic here, so I'd obviously recommend reading that one first before reading this one. Though, at the same time, this one is hopefully self-contained enough that you wouldn't necessarily have to read Quandary first in order to understand anything, if you don't care to.

Also beware, there is a bit of very mild one-sided shipping between one of the ponies and one of the humans, but nothing super serious or squicky or anything like that. And the Discord/Celestia ship from Quandary is touched upon again, of course. Just thought I'd mention it here, in case someone might be turned off by that sort of thing.
