[GoldenVerse side fic.] After Raindrops brings up some unsettling facts about Spike, Twilight and Rarity are forced to take a look at themselves and their treatment of a young Drake who has been a major part of their life. For Twilight, it's the role of a mother who's taken for granted and ignored her son for most of his life. For Rarity, it's the treatment of a very special friend as free labor.

After their bout of introspection, they work to make it up to him, and grow themselves along the way. This is the Momma Twi, Sparity fic I mentioned in the comment section of "Getting Ready".

This is my first FIC.

Sorry I had to finish this story like this, I recently became a Marine and this story is SOO outdated that it is hard to try to write something that I had intended to be about the show 6 years ago. So much has changed that this story would fall flat if I continued it with the logic of 2013

It's been four years since Twilight and Spike moved to Ponyville, and Spike still has a crush on Rarity. Since the first day he saw her, he wanted to ask her out, and he's imagined the scenario for them going a dozen ways. He finally takes a chance, but doesn't understand why none of those scenarios come true. Luckily, with the help of both Twilight and a stallion that he should hate, he may start getting the point. At least a little bit.

Synopsis:

Twilight and the rest of her friends were given on a mission of a friendship problem here in Equestria. Since they left, Starlight felt like she was alone again, on her own for now. She couldn't stop worrying about Twilight if she's in danger here, or worse, maybe trapped forever. Starlight felt upset in the moment until a certain dragon came here to cheer her up to soothe all of her problems away. After the dragon's comfort to Starlight, she strangely began to have strong feelings for him.

Cheating. It never leads to anything good. Hearts get broken, trust is lost, and lives are ruined. Unfortunately, even the best of relationships are not immune to it.

When it comes to light that Shining Armour has been in a secret affair with Rarity, it leaves Princess Cadence and Spike stunned and badly hurt. Leaning on each other for comfort, the two devise a plan to not only get revenge on the ponies that hurt them, but maybe even heal their broken hearts along the way.

"I.... I don't know. I have this feeling that something's on the horizon, and it's big." Sunset said, looking off into the setting sun.

They say during times of peace, if great tragedy is to come, the archmage will have a premonition about it. Little did Archmage Sunset know, that is exactly what this feeling was.

Bahamut, the ruthless king of Drakonia, the land of dragons, has decided something that could change the entire fate of Equestria.

"My subjects hear me now. Thousands of years ago Discord came and overpowered us all. Now we dragons shall go, to reclaim our former glory. To show Equestria, who is the strongest. To show all, that we are the mightiest of them all!"

War. Pain. Death. These are what become of his decision. Can Equestria stand up to the strength of the dragons? All of Equestria must now fight to protect the ones they love.
