Spike is reunited with his long lost sister Ran'sea. The elegant dragon brings her brother, Twilight, Private and Rarity to her home among the dragon clans. While there, Spike meets his extended family, deals with the fact he was raised by ponies, and now faces a dragon right of passage. This ceremony will allow Spike's body to grow naturally, without being consumed by greed. During the ceremony however, Spike is nearly killed thanks to an assassination attempt. Private must find out who is responsible for the attack, but can a pony earn the respect of dragons? Just what are the dragons keeping about Spike's parents?

Based just a bit after "Bats!" we find our favorite shy pegasus still feeling a little batty despite Twilight's reversal spell. Not wanting to cause anymore trouble Fluttershy decides to keep it to herself.. until Spike happens to find out accidentally. A one-shot (or perhaps more) regarding the possible outcome(s) that would result from Spike the dragon trying to help his timid friend cure herself while at the same time keeping a secret that he less then enthused about.

Another attempt at stepping into new territory for me which I hope you enjoy.

A story of judicial vengeance. A tale of ill-fated love. How far would you go to save your homeland's destruction? How far would it take for your love to convince you otherwise? For Celestia, she'll find out it isn't as simple as yes or no, wrong or right.

In this verse: Discord isn't born with his chaotic power, but gains it. The royal pony sisters are orphaned, and Celestia is the same height as her sister, and has pink hair. Luna looks like her season one counterpart.

The youth of Celestia and Luna was a very long time ago, you would never have guessed that they grew up with Discord!
But sadly Celestia did something that ruined their friendship, and turned Discord into the Chaos causing monster he is today!

Discord has been reformed— mostly. Still, Princess Celestia seems to have trouble controlling what appears to be a seething hatred for him whenever nopony else is around.

When the Princess approaches him one day before a royal ball, Discord begins to see the situation a bit better.

Discord is in love with Princess Celestia. He tries to express this in a letter to her.

Somehow, they end up watching a movie together.

...Wait, what?

Immortality comes at a very dark and somber price, one that Twilight never realized until it was too late. But though she’s faced with a dark truth, she knows for a fact that her best friend, her dragon, her Spike will never leave her side, until his dying breath.

As the two reminisce about the past that brought them together they learn of a truly dark and hidden secret about Equestria’s history they wished they never heard.
