Having been forced to flee her natal city, a mare finds herself caught in the middle of a storm near the region where the village of Ponyville used to be. Exhausted, she finds refuge in a little cottage where a kind but weird yellow and pink pegasus still lives.

But when Twilight learns that Flash Sentry is going to marry another mare, her feelings break loose and she finds herself caught between accepting her defeat or deciding to fight for the one she loves against all odds.

Rarity meets a very good painter and asks him to make a painting of her. The result just differs a lot from her expectation and Rarity is launched on a quest to find out just how beautiful she really is, isn't, or can be...

As Twilight discovers it, it's not always easy to make everpony happy when cutting the cake. And that particular day, it seems that they all went crazy all of a sudden, making such demands that it jeopardizes the simple trivial cutting of the cake.

A young stallion is suspected of arson on the house of his girlfriend, but the judge decides he can't pass the judgment himself and, benefiting of the fact he lives in the magical land of Equestria, turns to the princesses to decides on his behalf.

The only problem is, the princess happens to be Twilight and Twilight has no idea what to decide.

She embarks on a little journey to try and find out if she should better throw somepony in jail, risking the fact that he might be innocent, or setting him free, risking the fact he might be a danger for society. And therefore decide how much is worth sacrificing for the insurance of safety.

By chance, there is always the option to rely on princess Celestia as she always knows what should be done.

There is an old tale passed from class to class that there is a masked mare, Supermare, that will help you if, for some reason, you happen to be stuck with your homework.

Or it so happen that Scootaloo has to do a math homework about addition and is pretty much desperate as everytime she adds up numbers, her answers happens to be wrong. She wouldn't mind Supermare to come help her, but sometimes things get more complicated than they need to be...

It's a beautiful day in Equestria, Twilight is doing magic, two creatures from the everfree forest come into Ponyville and bring their conflict with them, Applejack makes an apple pie, ponies run away in fright, there is some ice cream at some point and the story isn't even random.

Also, none of that matters because the whole story is actually about Applebloom who wants more than anything to punch Diamond Tiara in the face, and struggles with that thought as Applejack has told her violence isn't the solution.

Twilight has to repair a locomotive after a derailement to escape from the middle of nowhere.
The problem is: she has never done anything like this, she has no idea how to do it, she has no way to do it and, in short, she can't do it.

But her friends still believe in her. In fact, they think it will be a piece of cake for a pony as smart as Twilight.

One morning, Twilight doesn't want to get up.
By chance, she is an over powerful alicorn with godlike powers and there is no rule that say you can't use powers if you've got them, right? What is the worse that could happen...

Not much actually, but still.

Ponies take Celestia and the sun as granted. And why shouldn't they? It has existed before any of them can remember and it will probably keep on existing for a very long time.
There was, however, a time, long, long ago, when there was no sun, no night, no ponies, nothing.

This isn't an epic tale or some sort of great adventure. This is merely a look back at Celestia, in a very distant past, when everything was still to create and how her long story as the princess of the sun began.
