The cutie mark crusaders decided to make a little business to earn some money by putting up a lemonade stand. Everything was going well, the fillies were happy, the lemonade was tasting good and math test were passed without much difficulty in a carefree, innocent and beautiful Equestria.

Then Diamond Tiara happened.

This is just a story about Applebloom's pumpkin, how she decided to handle it and what the consequences were.

So this is a story about a pumpkin and... seriously, what is the probability that a story about a pumpkin might be interesting whatsoever?
About one in a thousand?
One in a million?
One in a billion?
Does such a probability really make sense anymore?

A new creature appears in Ponyville, bringing a threat of total destruction with him. Everypony is ready to deal with that new enemy, but Twilight decides to protect it, jeopardizing the future of everypony in all of Equestria, and soon begins to have to face the consequences...

Twilight wanted to read an old book, but ends up chasing a white pony looking creature, ending up into the home of a stallion who ends up having written an amazing amount of stories, so much that they cover the walls of his home.

As it may be obvious there, the story is mostly about how things end up. And also about books, but that part is mostly there to please Twilight.

To live in Equestria means that you'll always get help if you ask for it, and sometimes even if you don't. This is one of the greatest aspects of that country.

Still, helping can be more difficult than it seems. And here are the stories of a pony who needed help and a pony who didn't. Just try to not judge the pony by the cover, or the clothes, or the amount of help it needs, or doesn't...

Why "Helping"? Because this isn't.

One night, Twilight hears a musical piece that touches her so much she feels the need to tell the artist how wonderful it was and thank her.

But some mares like Twilight tend to transform the simplest of things into the most complicated one.

A foal offers Applebloom a piece of paper which contains a drawing.

At first surprised, Applebloom is excited when she figures out that the drawing must be a treasure map. She makes it her quest to find the treasure and takes her two friends with her in her new quest, not knowing what is awaiting her on her silly journey and what treasure she is going to discover.

In other words: if the truth is obvious, what isn't?

On the night before the biggest battle the ponies have ever had to face, Rainbow Dash is looking at the stars, afraid of what is going to happen. Pinkie Pie comes along and they both talk a little, until Rainbow Dash finally confesses she wishes not to die in the upcoming battle.

Pinkie Pie decides to comfort her and promises her she will make sure that it never happens. She makes it a pinkie promise.
Her last one.

And then, Rainbow Dash wakes up in a very weird world, where Pinkie Pie is awaiting her.

When Rainbow Dash rushes into the library and asks Twilight to cure her, the new alicorn doesn't realize exactly what this is all about.
But as the situation becomes clearer, she understands that her friend isn't ill, but could need some advices and even to learn a new thing or two.

However, the more the two mares discuss Rainbow Dash's problem, the less easy it is to know which mare is learning from the other, what the lesson taught is and, in the end, if anything has been learned at all.

A little story without much ambition but multiples little subjects and the will to discuss what it means to understand something or to learn something.

Twilight and her friends are invited to spend some time in the Canterlot castle with no explanation whatsoever. Once there, Twilight quickly understand that not everything is going well, but the Celestia doesn't seem to want to share her problem with the new alicorn princess and former student.

But the real problem appears when they discover Celestia's secret and have to share some of the weight of ruling Equestria.

Just a story to discuss what it means to be a ruler and assume the responsibilities that come with the title.
