Yeah, you can decrypt them. Each on has a message. You can use the ones I showed in the first comment. The A, E, I, O, U, turned into the code. Like in the code if there is a D it would translate into an A to make an actual word. Get it?

What we see being done is VERY possible within the realm of (Full Metal Alchemist) alchemy, but the problem is a circle must be drawn each time unless you've seen past the Door of Truth by performing human transmutation. In that case you can form a circle by clapping your hands.
A caveat to that is you can draw the circle on clothing or tattoo it. For example if he drew air on one glove and earth on the other, he could do what he's doing every time, but it would be indicated by a bright yellow glow. (or blue if he's seen past the door.)
So I'm not sure if the author just didn't understand FMA or is purposefully deviating from the rules thereof.
