Princess Cadance loves Hearts-and-Hooves Day. She does not, however, love the hundreds of letters sent to her every year from desperate and dateless ponies who misunderstand how her special talent works.

Still, not every letter contains a blatant request to remove another's free will. Some just ask for simple advice, or hold the naive-yet-innocent wishes of the young. And then there's a letter from a married writer who just wants his anniversary to be super special.

Although Mi Amore Cadenza is not the almighty angel of love that most ponies think she is, she might be able to help these select few writers.

A little dive into my headcannon and my look at the Season 5 finale.

YOH 1493: Midnight Nights / Before Nightfall continuity.

Three years ago, Applejack left Sweet Apple Acres for good to live with her Orange kin. This has left Big Mac as the only young, healthy Pony able to work the farm.

The ninteeen year old stallion is strong, smart and highly-responsible, and Sweet Apple Acres could have no more capable manager. The problem is that he must also watch his youngest sister; three year old Apple Bloom, who has a tendency to wander into trouble.

Will little Apple Bloom wander into mortal peril? And, if she does, will her big brother be able to save her?

Troubled youths like Sunset Shimmer and Trixie Lulamoon can end up on a dangerous path. They can fall through the cracks in the system, spiralling into a vicious cycle of self-destruction and crime. They can become a disgrace to their families, their school, and their Nation.

That's why Principal Celestia has asked Twilight Sparkle to return and find a way to set them back on the straight and narrow. Twilight, being the Princess of Friendship, knows exactly how to solve the problem.

They have to perform but one simple task ...

On a fateful Hearts and Hooves Day, Princess Luna happens to notice that her sister, Princess Celestia, has been feeling down in the whereabouts of the Canterlot Castle. So, with the help of a fellow princess, Luna decides to help Celestia by finding a companion for her!

Cole hated the world he lived in. He wanted to leave forever. And got what he asked for... Sort of. He did leave earth, but where he ended up was even worse. There were ponies, rainbow colored ponies everywhere! As it turns out, ponies are afraid of humans, especially grumpy humans.

Celestia decides something must be done to cheer the poor man up, so she calls in a professional.
Pinkie. Pie.

Can she melt the iceberg inside of Cole's heart? Of course she can! Pinkie can make anything happy... Right?

That's always been a bit of a mystery.
Aside from 'the big, red, quiet stallion at Sweet Apple Acres', not many ponies actually know.
Rainbow Dash is no exception.
Sure, she's seen him around a bit, but their relationship doesn't span much further than 'the brother of Applejack'.
One night, she talks to him.

This story is primarilly Slice of life, but does suggest romance and shipping.
So the romance tag is more for 'light romantic themes'.
