Where's Uncle Slorgy? · 3:13am

Okay, so I've been kind of MIA lately. I had planned on getting another chapter of Lyra's Ultimate Item Emporium up like, two weeks ago. Then I wanted to get another PonyFall: Australia chapter up.
Unfortunately, real life sometimes likes to take your carefully laid plans and laugh at them. Frankly, I've been busy with things completely unrelated to the internet. I had an exam in my electrical trades course; I had to have a medical exam, among other things, so that I can finally settle my residency status here in Australia; I was away the entire Mother's Day weekend; I've been looking at getting an apprenticeship; and finally, I've been looking at new homes so that I can finally stop paying rent.
In-between all of that, I've had to do the standard parenting stuff, housework, cooking, cleaning, etc. etc. What little free time I've had has been spent playing games just to keep from going nuts.
Today I finally managed to get some work on the next PonyFall chapter done along with Fullmetal Pony. So, while it's not going to be completed at least for a few more days yet, it has been started. The next Lyra chapter has been started as well, but it's slow-going.
Things will continue to be a little hectic until I find a home I like, but at least work has finally begun.
Thanks for your patience. I'll get something out for you to read as soon as I can sit down and write something I'm satisfied with. I've rushed chapters out in the past with mixed results, so I prefer to take my time and get it right.
Love to all,
- Slorgy

>>487548 Mhmm, a lovely piece of work.
>>487034 Hello!
The Final Element will be getting rewritten eventually, but not until PonyFall: Australia has completed. I unpublished all of the chapters I had written in the meantime, so that's probably why there is no comment section.
Is this the artwork you're talking about?
So, I found your artwork for the final element, and I like it. I like it, and would like to post it in the story comments. However, there is no comment box, and I doubt you'd appreciate it.
>>455298 I made a blog post explaining my reasoning for it, but new followers such as yourself wouldn't know about that.
It's mostly for my own personal use, but if users want to have a quick-reference at how my stories are doing and use that info to decide whether or not to read something, I'm okay with that.
Obviously it's not an exact science and has no bearing on the readers who chose not to vote at all on a story, nor does a high rating necessarily equate to high-quality, but I can certainly admit that my lowest-rated story, The Final Element, was easily the worst written of the bunch in my opinion. Which is why it's being rewritten eventually.

Oh.
I guess I assumed everyone was like me and completely ignored those.
>>454316 Up votes and down votes. The percentages equate to the number of people who up voted out of the total number of votes.
I'll use Lyra's Ultimate Item Emporium as an example to show the calculation:
251 up votes
1 down vote
252 total votes
Multiply up votes by 100 = 25100
Divide that by total votes = 25100 / 252 = 99.60
Therefore, 99.60% of the users who bothered to vote did so with an up vote.
Having just looked at your page... what exactly are the "grade percentages" on your stories from? I'm a bit baffled.

damn it, Slorg

No Ponyfall in title, but allowed as reference for ideas in the description. Got it.
Your stories are plain out awesome and I just read yours and Fullmetal Ponys so far! Once I had just FMP's story up the screen and fairly ignored the collab, but as soon as the story intensified I got more and more curious and added every other story to my favourites. Up to this point I was down to 24 chapters in my favourit section and BAM I had 88 again.
I thank you very much for this wonderful world you created and await big things from you. I know they'll come by fast.
I admit that I'm a bit slow at writing, but as soon as I have the first chapter/s up I'll inform you and you can judge if it is good enough or not.
A little warning ahead. There will be no prereader or corrector involved at that point.
Thank you for your time.
