Everypony knows my affinity with magic, and my love for books. Apparently this knowledge had spread much farther than I had dared to hope or even imagine.

I had seen Spike enjoying his new Comics. Though I guess I had been surprised as I saw the first unanounced delivery, since I had never ordered it. His joy more than made up for any resentment.

This time, the book was clearly intended for me in person.

I guess others like to see their newly published books in public and important places, like a Royal library. If that is the reason for the sudden influx of new and unannounced books.

My step-mother has been living with me and Dad for a while now. I still miss when my real mother treated me how I should be treated, but Gold Digger treats me like I'm not even her daughter. It's just awful.

If you think you know what it's like to be so poorly treated after having such a wonderful loving mother, then you can't even comprehend what I've had to go through over the last few years. Let me see if I can properly explain why my mean old step-mother, Gold Digger, shouldn't even be in my life.

Rust had some hard times growing up, and it got even worse when his parents split and left.
But as he got on a train to anywhere he starts to see the bright side when he meets his first real friend. That is until he and everyone else finds out what he really is able to do.

Reading The Chase is helpful but not necessary to enjoy this story.

Luna has been redeemed by the elements of harmony, but is finding that salvation is harder to come by. Ponies avoid her, the memories of Nightmare Moon still fresh in their minds. Additionally, after a thousand years of solitude and silence, she’s having trouble adjusting to life in noisy, crowded, living Equestria.

Change never happens easily, and Luna struggles despite the help of her sister and new friends, failing as much as she succeeds.

Perhaps the Moon, her prison for so very long, is truly where Luna belongs after all.
