After a recent visit to the optometrist, Diamond Tiara discovered that her eyesight was beginning to degrade. Her mother, Spoiled Rich, recommended that she get some contact lenses straight away. Being the perky little princess she makes herself out to be, Diamond Tiara is on board with the idea at first.

But the moment she struggles with said lenses, her dad, Filthy Rich, takes it upon himself to get her a pair of glasses. Now, torn between her mother and her father, the only one who can help Diamond make the right choice is her closest friend, Silver Spoon.

Sometimes I just hated going to school with all of those stupid foals. None of them were as pretty or awesome as I was back then. They all thought that I was really mean to them, but what did they know?

At least, that's what I thought at the time. One day I had to have a talk with Ms. Cheerilee about it, and I didn't like what she had to say...

Over the years Applebloom,Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo have endured constant bullying from Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. However during their first year at Canterlot High it seems to be reaching a boiling point. Unknown to their friends Sweetie Belle and Silver Spoon have formed a strong friendship in secret...a very strong friendship. But when this war of words starts showing signs of violence will Sweetie and Silver be able to not only keep their friendship a secret, but keep their friends as well?

It's pretty obvious the Cutie Mark Crusaders spend most of their time together searching for their cutie marks. But when one of the little fillies gets their cutie mark, what's going to happen? What will she do when the other 2 fillies are in search of their cutie marks? Surely, she'll feel awkward. True friends always stick together. And the Cutie Mark Crusaders are true friends... right?
