When Twilight Sparkle decides to try a new spell she has perfected, she successfully pulls a being from another universe into Equestria. That being coincidentally is a human...that human coincidentally is you. What at first just seems like an opportunity for first contact between two species soon becomes something much more when certain truths are brought to light...and everything you knew about your life is flipped onto its head.

NOTE: At times in this story, the main character's thought process will be shown as an inner monologue with his brain. BRAIN's dialogue will appear in this color of text.

Private and Twilight are called to help out with a summit meeting between Princess Celestia and the monarchs of three other kingdoms. The land of Equestria has been turned into a desert wasteland. And it's all Twilight Sparkle's fault! Dubbed the Cursed One by all ponykind, Twilight must now live in hiding to keep herself alive. Even her once close pony friends have abandoned her. The only one by her side is her number one assistant, Spike, who has becomes a gun wielding badass bounty hunter to keep her safe.

This story has no connection with what I call my TwiMacVerse. I've actually had this idea for a while. This also doesn't use anything from Season 3 as it has just started.

After leaving on a second pilgrimage to find himself, Spike returns to Ponyville, physically larger and sporting an impressive array of skills and powers.

His plans for a calm life in Ponyville, however, takes a different path as he soon finds himself the desire of several ponies interests, friends old and new included.

Change breeds benefits, as the saying goes. Spike has yet to hear it ring true.

A lot of strange things are happening all over Equestria. Bodies are being stolen by a mysterious doctor who was also the one who worked on Private's mom. Upon capture he reveals that Sparrowheart's death was no tragic accident. Private's personal demons start to come out as this case appears to be connected to the Vice case that caused Private to leave in the first place. Will Private be able to save himself and Manehatten from a dark and evil threat? Or will he give in to the growing anger inside of him? Is Irenius really as innocent as he claims to be?

Chapters are based on the song "Sweet LA" By Miracle of Sound, the song that inspired this series in the first place.
