Or, will Nyx be forced to inherit the sins that may not even be hers and become the greatest evil Equestria has ever known?

After Celestia's announcement of war on humanity, things have changed for everyone. Humanity has been set on the run, fighting has ravaged both sides of the conflict, and the bitter fighting shows no end in sight. Human civilization has been brought to a grinding halt, and it is anyone's guess if it will even continue to exist. It is in this bleak future that one man finds himself in, alone, and driven solely by one goal in his mind, even as everyone around him falls to fighting and war. One man, a pacifist in a violent conflict, would do all he could to change things, to make amends.

This fic is set in the Ten Rounds universe of The Conversion Bureau setting.

Twilight's slight miscalculation with the Elements of Harmony land her and Rarity in a telepathic funk. But when Princess Celestia goes missing, it looks like having a window into each other's minds is going to be the least of their problems. The Mane Six will find themselves everywhere from Equestria's capital, to the home of the sea ponies, to a battle on the ocean for the fate of the world - all in this long adventure with more innuendo than you can shake your plot at. It has been five years since Emergence. Since then, Bureaus have been opening around the world, and many are embracing the offer of survival that is ponification. The United States is still the center of the cooperative efforts to refine the serum that allows a human to walk in as a member of Homo sapiens and walk out as Equus equestriani. But a menace dismissed as an isolated incident is marshalling its might, and its eyes are turned toward the city that stands as the foremost center of the research effort. St Louis fell asleep to peace, and will awaken to thunder and fire.
