Rainbow visits Fluttershy, intending to drop off a letter, but she's scared away by a horrifying spider Fluttershy is caring for.

The rest of the main 6 are quickly told what happened, and simply cannot let such an event go unnoticed. How will Rainbow react when they show up at her doorstep?

This story takes the concept of Death Battle and carries it over into Equestria, pitting different ponies and other Equestrian creatures against each other in one-on-one fights to the death to see which is superior. Extensive research is done on both combatants to figure out who would win, and is presented as a written battle to be more entertaining.

Readers are asked to suggest possibilities for battles in the comments, or by messaging me. You are allowed to suggest OC characters, as long as they are from a story that is at least somewhat well-known.

Nightmare Moon has won, and the world has been shrouded in eternal night. But hope still lives. The land of Equestria is currently divided between the armies of the usurper and those of the Dawn Militia. When Ponyville is threatened by a force that can only be stopped by one thing, it's up to six ponies to fix the s**t they started.

Losing the last of her friends in a battle that should never have been fought, Twilight Sparkle's world falls apart, until meaning and purpose come back into her life in the most wonderful way imaginable. But she forgets, again, that every living creature must eventually die...
