When the Allies sunk the great battleship Bismarck, they thought it would be gone for good, left at the bottom of the Atlantic to rust as the Second World War raged on. What they didn't know was that the ship never made it to the ocean floor. Instead, the hulking battle machine was transported to someplace entirely unknown to mankind, with its sole survivor taken along for the ride.

The Gryphon Empire had been expanding its borders for centuries, gaining power and influence over the majority of the planet while at the same time stretching themselves ever thinner. Now, with food shortages threatening to tear the Empire apart, they look towards the only hope of salvation they have, Equestria.

Yet the pride of a predatory race would never allow for them to stoop to begging or trading for what they need. In their very blood there is a cry for war that cannot be denied if they are to save all that they have built. However, only a fool would dare go against the magical might of the pony nations, even taking into account the abysmal state of their military. Yet all of that changes when the hulk of a massive war vessel appears on the shores of their homeland, with a very strange pony the only being aboard.

Will Equestria fall under the power of one of mankind's most infamous warships? How will our lone human-turned-pony react to being in both a new body and world? You'll just have to take a look inside and see for yourself.

Nightshade, (OC, originally Davis) has a rather unique power, one that many with less than selfless intentions will give anything to get a hold of. He is on the run, and just when he appears to be caught, he finds himself in a new world entirely. Called a monster by his fellow humans, how will he fare in a world where ALL humans are considered as such? And can he stop the darkness within himself? 1: Memories of a Lost Time
Streak was only sixteen when Discord betrayed his fellow immortals and tried to take over the world. He joined the army, where he quickly rose in the ranks, eventually becoming the general of the United Equestrian Armies. He had led his troops to victory, becoming the most respected pony in Equestria. That all changed when he was betrayed by his closest allies. He was wiped from the history books and the war he spent five years fighting was erased from memory.

One thousand years later, he pulls himself out of a realm of nothingness called the Void to find the world he worked so hard to help create has fallen completely under the control of one of his former allies. Now on top of being forced to deal with distrust to and from new allies, worry about betrayal again, and being faced with the fact that even he's not immune to love, he also has to deal with an embarrassing new phobia. Whatever it takes to kill the one who betrayed him.

But how will Streak prevail, and even if he does, will he fall deeper and deeper into his darkness, becoming the very monster he seeks to destroy? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain.

Streak will have his revenge.

2: Flight From Memories
Formerly Vengeance From a Lost Time
Celestia had been exposed and stripped of her power. Due to a clever use of Cadance’s spellcraft, every pony, griffon, and minotaur in every city in Equestria knew Celestia for the monster she was. Streak had won. He even managed to survive winning, despite his fears otherwise.

Or so he thought. He left Celestia’s ultimate fate up to the Bearers, which proved to be a fatal mistake. Celestia was spared, given a second chance as a magic-less version of herself, and within days sent an assassin after him, who was successful at slaying the former general. With his consciousness back in the Void, this time as an insider instead of an intruder, Streak learned how to harness his new demon form.

Unknown to him, his death caused a rift in the Bearers. His body was never found, since technically it was not really there in the first place, which led Rainbow Dash to convince herself that he was only missing. She grew resentful as the other bearers, one by one, stopped looking for Streak. When Twilight gave up the search, it was the final straw. Rainbow started an argument that wiped any trace of their friendship from all their thoughts and actions, going so far as to threaten Twilight were she to ever talk to her again.

After two years of animosity, Rarity had had enough. She brought the two of them together to try and rekindle their friendship. This proved to be a horrible decision, ending with Rainbow Dash in jail awaiting trial for attempted murder and Twilight in the hospital. All the while, Celestia was continuing her vile deeds behind everyone’s back. Coupled with the neighboring Griffon Empire closing their borders, to ponies only, without so much as a word as to why, lends itself to a tumultuous landscape for Streak’s return. A return facilitated by one of the the most unlikely sources.

3: Recurring Memories
Starswirl has returned to Equestria, somehow. On top of this, Changelings have moved in and are attempting to do. . . something. Nopony is sure what. To make Streak's life even harder, his daughter doesn't want him to go running through the countryside looking for either party, instead choosing to remain in Ponyville and attempt a normal life.

How will Streak cope with being a civilian now? No more fighting, no more killing, just sitting in town and having a job somewhere normal. Can he even get a job after losing his cutie mark when he transformed into a demon, or is he doomed to joblessness?

On top of this, Twilight is sure to not be happy with the duo, Rarity will have some kind of issues after being held prisoner by changelings, and Star is starting to feel funny around Sweetie Belle. As if his life wasn't hard enough, he starts feeling an urge he hasn't felt in a thousand years. He wants to hurt something, bad.

All in a day's work for Equestria's only remaining professional soldier, right?

4: In His Memory
Streak is dead. He died with a part of the city of Manehattan, but his sacrifice saved the rest of the doomed city.

He left behind Star, however, and she isn't happy that he's gone. Doubly so since Starswirl is the one responsible. Armed with a secret and versatile form of magic used only by the royal guard's War Mages, she sets off to indiscriminately slaughter those responsible for the Manehattan Incident, starting with Starswirl. But has she bit off more than she can chew? How can anyone hope to defeat the former Bearer of Magic in his own element?

I was a normal 16 year old, well kind of normal depending on you definition of "Normal". After being stalked by a light pony, i was transported to Equstria, guess what!... no memories... sucks to suck right?
Also, if you're one of those lovely haters, i love hate mail so send it my way if you so choose ;) until then Bro-Pony out.

Sentinels, while few in number, were the vanguard of humanities final defiance to the demon's onslaught on their world. As the one story ends, another can begin, if one would pick up the pen to write it. Or, if in a final act of defiance on another world just beginning it's turn, someone chucks a rainbow at you. So join Sentinel, who takes the name where his own cannot, as he attempts to navigate the proverbial highway that is his life in the land of Equestria. Expect random adventures, road trips, soul searching, pure and utter confusion and even moments of clarity that can come from growing up without any.

*No gore, rape, or clop.
*Cussing will be kept to story driven excessiveness.
*Romance will be used for conflict, but no active human x pony sexual relationships.
*No "Great evil" overtone. Adventures will be small, and socially inter-connected.
*Sentinel will never, ever, EVER.... get a element of his own, harmony or otherwise.
*Sentinel will never become a Alicorn.

I wish to use this premise to explore relations that could come from such drastically different environmental factors effecting how someone, or somepony, grows up. Equestria is just like the show also. Fun loving and all that jazz, but as with the show, bullying and other social disharmony is going to be shown and highlighted.

Teen or Mature rating? I am still conflicted on this. I am strictly encouraging suggestions or critic on the rating. I was setting it to mature, but after checking out some stories that i've enjoyed here i've noticed they are mostly teen. Pretty much every mature story is about killing ponies with graphic details or very detailed sex/clop. Neither is going to be in this story. So going to shift it to teen for now.

Sex tag: Same as before, for sexual humor and situations, but no clop or graphic sex. At best, its going to be akin to talking the talk, and at worst, insinuated but left at that for the actual act happening. Just isn't what this is going to be about, and if anyone wishes for me to clarify this farther, ask.

Romance: I am entirely still unsure how I wish to approach this. All i can say is there will be no actual active and ongoing physical relationship between Sentinel and a pony as the current premise stands, human in equestria. Some moments, as such things are just going to happen along with emotion induced conflict, sure. However it will be a very slow thing if it goes towards something major, allowable only when certain conditions are met.

Alternate Universe Tag: No Alicorn Twilight, yet. About everything else, within reason to making a fiction based on the mlp fim universe stays. Some oddities that make it impossible to write it as anything but "I went into the TV" will remain out but otherwise the episode history is staying intact. So basically it heads up to the ending of season three then branches off without the final season 3 episodes. MLP in any form does/did not exist in Sentinel's world.

Will Sentinel stay a human? Unsure. If he goes the ponified route, its gonna be one hell of a rough ride and not just a "hey, magic!". Also, due to the possibility of romance actually opening up to something major if this condition is met, it will be much much later. I have no motivation to have him go pony in 2 chapters and snag a element of harmony just cause hes male.

This will also not be a episode to episode thing. The setting will be up until the last few episodes of season 3 and then it just stops. How when or what on when it moves further in canon will depend on several factors.

Also.. Sentinel is not an alicorn, will never be one, will NEVER get wings, and is not as powerful as Celestia or Luna. He is strong, but more of a Earth Pony, with some Point Blank Aura application such as healing and resistance. No long range, no air combat ability, and he is more of a tank than a offensive type fighter. AKA, he is gonna get his ass kicked quite a few times in Equestria, but he won't ever go down without a fight or leaving a scar.

He is proud, but firm, of humanity. This isn't going to be about proving humanity is better than equestria nor is it about proving equestria is better than humanity. Humans are NOT scum. One of the biggest concepts of this fic is consequence of choice, and that will go a very long way in approaching humanity and equestria's differences, and similar social ventures.

Additionally, from the prologue, I want it known that Sentinel is not going to be with any princess, at the time of the prologue, period. No Celestia, no Luna, no Cadance. I am going to maintain and try and even flourish every official relationship, be it romantic, sibling, or parental.

Finally, my form of writing is not for everyone. You are both free and encouraged to voice how you do like it or do not regardless. It will be a progress thing, as I get into the groove of the story myself. I figure i spent more time on the prologue just to get a solid foundation to use for the rest of the story, and is why it is so long for one go.

Finally, there with be some homage to certain media that I've watched, listened, or read. You will find little tidbits here and there, and by no means is it meant as anything but a kick back to the rightful owners.

Everypony has something that makes them special, a gift, it's what sets them apart from each other. For Midnight, it's a gift that he never wanted, and one he sees as a curse when it takes over. With the fragments of a broken mind teetering the edge daily, it forces him to be driven away by most others in his travels, and left alone with only his 'gift' to keep him company. However, one can only stay alone for so long.

A decision to go back in to an empire he isn't welcome at, does more than just make him feel like he belongs, but gives him a mare willing to help the stallion. That so many others before her, have turned their back on.

(while this follows the events of "A Sparkle In The Guard's Eye", they can be read independently of one another, though it may answer a thing or two if you have read it. Alt Universe simply because it doesn't follow the storyline of the show.)

With the destruction of the Nightmare Forces, peace has returned to Unity. Burst and his friends are enjoying the peace and quiet, but a hero's work is never done. New Elements of Herosim have begun to awaken. And new evils loom over the horizon.

It's Important to know this a First-person story and also a story based on my Headcanon. If your not into these kinds of stories, you have been forewarned.

Sarius Trusdale is a DNA hybrid, part human and part dragon with other little DNA strands from other species thrown in. He was given the role of Keeper of the Balance between Good and Evil. He can be seen as a hero or a villain but he's really neutral.

Fortunately, Sarius isn't the only Keeper of the Balance. He is one of three siblings who all share the same role and destiny. When they work together, they're unstoppable. Now that gets put to the test as they face off with an evil as old as time itself.

For my past readers, I advise you to reread my story from the top as I have revised the prologue, first five chapters and made changes to the sixth.

Note: There are no humans in this story, but they are often mentioned. Sarius himself is half-human and has a few scenarios where he becomes a human for a short time.

The Violence tag is for the numerous fight scenes in this story and the drawing of blood in most. Gore and Sex tags are for the blood and innuendo, as well as implications.

Equestria has always been a land of peace, harmony, tolerance, love, and friendship. For anypony who has grown outside of Equestria...it is the perfect place for retirement. Statice has worked hard as an adventurer to start a new life and he has chosen Equestria to be his new home. Sadly, Statice will find out that being a pony doesn't mean that he will fit in with other ponies, especially due to his "unique way" of solving his problems.
